Swishy perfection
I bought this to replace my aging Hell Bunny petticoat (around $60) for my pin up dresses. Malco Modes is THE name in petticoats. The shipping was through a company that I had never heard of and was late and I got several emails stating that my package was here while it was not. But the product is perfect. It is not as heavy as I imagined and comparing it to the Hell Bunny it is lighter, softer (silky even) and has only 2 layers (as opposed to the HB 3) and it is still fuller. It has the great lace detail that allows it to lay flat (I don't like my petti to show under my skirts). It has great profile and movement. There is no better swish! I was skeptical about the length as most of my dresses are 26 inch but this 23 inch length works great. It falls perfectly and I wear it on my waist. I might have to actually shorten it for some dresses. The only thing I would say is to order a size up. I usually wear a small or medium and purchased a large and it fits perfectly but it is also on the largest button hole.
