Worked perfectly to protect my boots through snow and slush!
I was going to visit my family in Iowa the first week of December and wanted to wear some rather expensive lug sole boots because they are stylish but also warm and expected to be supportive and sturdy in the event of snow or ice. I got this product to protect them from wet weather and if slushy, salt and other products that may be in the mix in winter weather conditions. I sprayed 3 or 4 coats, letting dry completely before each new coat. The application process was simple and the product did not in any way damage the boots or lead to discoloration or spotting. As it turned out, a massive snow storm hit the week before we went and we had 7 inches of snow one night while we were there. So yes - all my fears of wet and slush came true. Even the somewhat unexpected need to trudge through snow that pretty much buried my boots. But, my boots were perfectly protected and still look as good as the day I left for Iowa. I was delighted! Attached is a pic I took after returning to CA. I did nothing special to clean them after the trip and before taking this picture — heck, I didn’t even swipe a soft cloth over them before taking the picture.
