Amazing quality reformer! So quiet!
I read a ton of reviews and articles before taking the plunge on this reformer, because I’d never seen one in person. I know these are expensive and you might be worried about how it measures up to the studio reformers you’ve used, so let me set your mind at ease: this thing is amazing. I’ve used the wood-framed balanced body reformers in studios for years, and this is much quieter than those, and maybe even sturdier. The powder coated frame is a beautiful bright white. The vinyl parts are dark charcoal gray, not too shiny. Overall it looks like something Apple or Tesla would design. The carriage return is super smooth and quiet, and the soft rope strap connectors are ingenious. You could use this near a napping baby. Definitely get the optional legs to put it at a more usable height. It’s heavy - I wouldn’t want to move it often. My only complaint is that the way you hook the straps onto the carriage when not in use is fiddly. The pegs are turned sideways under the carriage, and I find them difficult to use, so I usually loop the straps over the shoulder rest. That’s the only flaw I can find with this reformer. The way the foot bar adjusts and slides up and down the reformer is really cool. Assembly is tricky — if you aren’t handy, find someone to help you, and watch the installation videos ahead of time. The videos are much clearer than the written instructions. Once it’s assembled, you never have to do it again! Finally, I’d like to note that this isn’t as wide or bulky as the wood reformers are. It’s long and narrow, and doesn’t take up as much space as I expected. If you think you don’t have enough space for a reformer, take some measurements and get creative. I’d rather have a reformer In my bedroom than a dresser full of clothes I don’t wear. :)Ver másVer menos
