  An excellent product for thinning hair.

  My hair has become thinner with age. I love this powder. as I can sprinkle it on to give my hair a fuller look. I think the price is high. However, a little does go a long way. The variety of colors, mix well with your hair, and know one can tell you have sprinkled anything on it. I have used it for a year and a half, and plan to always have it on hand.Ver másVer menos

  My hair dresser told me about Toppik's Hair Building Fibers because one of her clients has had success using it. Toppik is intended to make your scalp appear as if it has hair in the right places. This illusion is created by the tiny keratin particles bonding to your own hair. If your scalp is actually bald and there is no hair that is combed over it, this product isn't going to work for you. That said, it does wonders for those of us with thinning hair. Just be sure to get the correct color that matches your own. For example, the light blonde is strictly for those with very light, platinum blonde hair. If your hair has the least bit of ash or red tone in it, opt for the medium blonde Toppik.After you have dried your hair (using all of the products you normally apply), sprinkle the Toppik onto the areas that need to look fuller. Lightly tap the area to help the keratin particles `grasp' the hair. Once you have filled in these spaces, you may lightly style your hair. Vigorous brushing will remove Toppik so, don't do it. Toppik should remain in place until you brush or shampoo.Applying Toppik is fairly simple. Begin by sprinkling it a little at a time until you see the desired effect. If you are placing it near your hairline, Toppik offers a tool for putting it in a small, defined area. (I just hold a tissue on my face to avoid having it settle on my skin.) The top of the jar is wide so, if you want to cover a very small area, the tool could be quite handy.For even greater results, I recommend Toppik's Hair Fattener. This is a leave-in treatment. The results I have with it are impressive. It works by making the hair appear a little thicker. I have been using it for about six weeks and even my husband can see a small difference in the thickness of my hair. (Toppik's claim is that continued use will make a permanent change in the thickness of the hair.) Using both products together will really help you look like you have no gaps of hair.I still use another product (a colored powder) that I brush onto my scalp to help cover the sparser areas in front.   Not bad for the price, but dispenses poorly

  t saved me! I have tried desperately for years to hide my bald spot. 18 years ago I had a pregnancy full of complications and was bed ridden for months. My hair thinned, and never regrew. At the crown, a bald spot appeared. With thin hair I can’t fully cover it by combing hair over to hide it. I’m only 5’2”, so pretty much everyone can see it. I tried hair pieces, which never match my hair texture. I tried a chemical application for a few months, and it did nothing. I was just about to wear a hat everyday, when I saw this product. It was cheaper than the other brands, but I didn’t want to waste money if it didn’t work. When I was first applying it, I thought “this is stupid”. It was like a weird dark powder. But then I looked in the handheld mirror at my reflection, you couldn’t see the bald spot! I’ve worn it each day I’ve gone out, and I feel a million times more confident. A little bit has gotten on my pillow, when I used a ton, but it washed right out. I can’t tell what it really looks like up close, but from what I can see in the reflection, it looks totally normal. It just shades it in. This is the easiest solution to cover thinning hair/bald spot. It matches my hair well, but I’m not sure how it would look if the color didn’t match well, or if I had big sections of missing hair.   girls/ladies - are you losing your hair maybe at a young age? Can you see your scalp? Try this, it was my lifesaver.

  OK, here's the deal. I started losing a LOT of hair around 35. Lots of trips to doctors, blood tests, dermatologists - no one could explain why - and I was in tears. Of course, you have to realize this is not a SOLUTION for thinning hair just like MAKEUP is not a solution to make your face permanantly more even-toned.This is a REALLY sensitive subject for me at my age and I am not ready to have hair implants or transplants due to cost.You want to try this. Find the color that matches as best you can - dust it in before you 'finish' your hair. Your blinding white scalp will not be as noticeable. My Mom was a TOTAL SKEPTIC and she was SHOCKED at how you cannot notice it at all. So much so, that she became a convert and starting using her own (though we mixed two colors for her). We also told an older friend and she tried a small container - she has severe thinning - she loves it but said she 'saves it for special occasions' (like going out) because she likes to do most of her head and 'doesn't want to run out too quickly.'I have one specific spot (crown of head, dark long hair) and I use it daily. I REALLY feel more confident knowing that I don't have an obvious 'split/hole' down the back of my head. Again, not a solution, but it helps minimize how noticable it is. I highly recommend it. Start with a small container until you are sure you have the right color for your hair.Update 15 May. Another nice side benefit is that these little "fibers" adhere to your hairs, giving your hair a little more texture - so it is even easier to get coverage over your spots. If you are reading this review, you're interested in something to help you along. Try this and have your biggest skeptic look - I think both they and you will be pleasantly surprised.   Totally Not Was Was Expected

  Worthless product that does not work at all. Does not 'fill in' anything on the scalp -- even a little. And the color was way off. I ordered medium blonde and it sort of looked GREEN when applied. There are no 'fibers' that I could find. It was just a thin powder. The idea of using a 'shaker' sort of method to apply the product was interesting but nothing about it worked at all.   Not for me

  Well, first let me say that the color is more of a yellowish color and not attractive. It's also hard to get it to actually stick to your hair without just falling out. It's too expensive for a so-so product.
