Very disappointed!
Wow, we read the other Amazon reviews thought we were getting a good video camera, especially since we have good video editing and codex software. Not true, this camera cannot focus at a distance, nor does it focus during a zoom. The low light imagery is blurry, but the picture is often fuzzy in good light, too. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA FOR FAMILY VIDEOS. Buy it from us (we'll even take a loss) if you want to give your kid an expensive toy that doesn't work as well as my cell phone camera!Ver másVer menos

A FANTASTIC NIGHT SHOT CAMERA
Dare you to try and find a zoom such as this on any new Video Camcorder.... 70x optical....2000x digital...... If your interest is in the NIGHT SKY.... this is the camera to have..... yeah your not going to get HD QAULITY... but at least your gonna get half way decent video of those things going bump in the night sky.... you know like.... aroura boriallis.... the moon.... ect.... the secret to this is to shoot your object in Manual Focus with the scene selector in Candlelight....and put it on a tripod.....So now for the earthbound review......well... its ok.... its not HD and you will have some shakiness even with the stabilizer on.... take your tripod with you when you go to the sports game. It takes good... not great.... daylight shots .... and for far away shots this zoom is a must.... its very portable and is about the size of a pop can.... the screen is a touch screen and it works very well..... I have been using this camera for about four years now and bought this new one as a backup because I realized this size zoom camera was no more.....Ver másVer menos

Good camera for what I need
I bought this camera to make demonstration videos for my college program requirements. I have only used it indoors so I can't speak to its outdoor performance. It has worked well for what I need it for. I like the touch screen. The internal memory is also really good and I like the USB plug in the strap, it is very convenient. I would say in poorer light conditions it isn't the best but still adequate for what I need. In a normal well-lit room the picture quality is very good. It is really easy to upload the videos with the PMB program they provide, but I haven't used it for editing as I find Windows Movie Maker to be easier to use. All in all a good camera. I am sure there are better ones out there but for a simple use like mine it has worked well, and the price is much better than many similar models.Ver másVer menos

No memories
For a product that is supposed to save memories I do not remember using it, or where I placed it. I know it is not the product fault but I guess it was not that compelling for me to use.
