I purchased this for my 12 year old sister's birthday!My little sister is very into make up & with her getting older I wanted to get her a set that I knew would be good. I own some Shany products myself, & I have never been disappointed by anything they have released (gel eye liner, eye shadows, lip sticks). I chose this particular kit because it is smaller, but has a variety of eye shadows, as well as a few blushes & face powders. Shany produces good quality cosmetics at an affordable price & I feel like this is the perfect set for a young girl (or someone traveling). The eye shadows & blushes have nice pigmentation, unlike other inexpensive alternatives, you don't have apply gobs of these cosmetics to get the color you are hoping to achieve. The colors that come in this particular set are very beautiful & vibrant, which I love. Also, these eye shadows are very easy to blend, you don't have to worry about having a harsh line because they are so overwhelmingly easy to work with.Overall, I love Shany products, that's why I chose to purchase from them for this gift. Great quaility makeup at a fantasic price and very kid friendly
I bought this as a christmas gift for my niece, she isn't old enough to wear make up to school or anywere else yet but she loves to play dress up. The kit came with a really good array of colors. I got to play with her and was really impressed with the pigment in all the different eyeshadows. The makeup didn't come off quick or easily so I could see how maybe a teenager would be able to use this make up regularly. The price is excellent for the amount of product in the kit and the kit comes in a really nice case. I don't think I would wear theses colors but I can definitely see myself now purchasing a Shany palette with colors that would work for me.Ver másVer menos

For fun makeup
Got this set for my little one who wanted to play around with makeup. It was the perfect set just for that for the perfect price. Came in a nice little contained case to keep all the makeup together and safe. Range of colors was great

Fun palette!
This is a fun little palette & I love the color variety in the eye shadows. There are several colors applied with my eye shadow brush (eye shadow wands don't work well for wrinkly eyelids like mine!) that are so light you can barely see them, if at all! My trick is to scrape up a bit of powder with my tweezers, and mix it with some Nyx Multitasking Medium, it makes a world of difference!I promptly tossed the blush and lip brushes, they were pretty crappy. You can run to the drugstore and spend no more than a couple of dollars for some softer brushes.I love that there are 4 shades of blush, the colors don't quite suit me, but I've never been one to wear blush anyway. They are very pigmented and would work well to use for an eye shadow. (you could totally do Elvira with this palette!)The lip glosses have a nice variety of colors, but they are a bit sticky for my preferences, so I'll leave those for my kiddo to use.You can't beat the price for what you get. I can jazz up my look with the wide variety of shadow colors, and I'm not worried about my kid using up an expensive palette playing dress up.Ver másVer menos

This was packaged extremely well to insure the colors stayed untracked during shipping. The case is durable and the colors, well photos dont do them justice! I bought one for my niece and one for my daughter and then had to get for myself after because the quality, color, make up feel and price. I used to buy higher cost make up because I thought it was better, and now I do not. I am extremely impressed with Shiney and this kit. It's perfect for yourself or as a nice gift. The product packaging besides being sound also provides a very nice presentation. I am truly impressed!Ver másVer menos

Teen girls love this!
My teen granddaughter absolutely loved getting this as a gift. Any teen would love this. She has had a lot of fun…I guess sort of practicing makeup.
