A Game-Changer for My Senior Dog – Noticeable Improvement!

Solution when the soft chews aren't very soft
Ordered these through Amazon because the price was better than through other sources. As several others have noted, they arrived not altogether soft. They weren't rock hard, but not exactly what I think of as a "soft chew." However, I used the same trick I use for hardened brown sugar -- put a slice of bread in the package and seal it up (I have heard that half an apple can work too). After a day or so, the chews were definitely softer. I left it in there, and the chews continued to return to a consistency that is closer to what I would have expected. My dog is VERY happy to eat them too! Giving the product 4 stars because they weren't soft upon arrival... but the workaround is easy and effective.I can't yet comment on their impact on her joints. She had been taking a different brand of the same supplement, but my vet recommended this after her CCL surgery and noted that this is the formula that has resulted in positive outcomes in research. Glad to have found them at a better price, and glad there is a solution when they arrive harder than desired.Update after 8 months of use (early December): My German Shepherd is now fully recovered from her CCL surgery (occurred in late March) and is back in top form! She is six and a half years young and seems as limber and ACTIVE as in her puppy days. (I thought maybe she was maturing, but turns out she was just healing). She may just be a healthy dog who has recovered well... so I don't know what I can attribute to the chews. However, her joints seem to be doing great, and I plan to continue giving her the chews every day. She loves them and I am incredibly happy to see her return to athleticism. Increasing to 5 stars because it's been easy to make the chews soft again, and I am really pleased with my dog's joint health.Ver másVer menos

Joint health supplement that works
I see a tremendous change in my fur baby Max mobility. It's been 6 weeks so I started giving him one instead of two as per the directions and they work. Max is 9 years old, he's very active, plays hard and Dasuquin is definitely playing an active part in his life. I recommend this supplement.Ver másVer menos

The bag seal is known to split apart making the bag unsealable!
It def works,my dog [jack rusell 8yrs old] had trouble with her back leg and this is whats been working,i will note the bag seal had split apart and they ended up getting hard since i didnt notice right away so i am a bit unsatisfied with that! but her mobility has got to 80% ,she may have arthritis ! 4 stars for the seal!Ver másVer menos

A must for older dogs!!
It’s been about 3 weeks and our older dog is now wrestling with our younger dog again!!! This stuff really does work! We were skeptical, but needed to get something to help out our older dog. 8 year old bully who has been very sore and stuff for a while now. He is moving around and enjoying everything so much more, thanks to this stuff his energy and mobility is Bach!Ver másVer menos

AMAZING product
Dasuquin has been a game changer in our home. I have had my Ole man (8 year old large breed dog) on this supplement for a year now. Our vet said his hips were getting bad, and recommend Dasuquin. They only have the pill form. Ole man is very picky and does not like to take pills. (He knows all my tricks as well)He went from having a hard time with the few stairs into the house. To running up and down the basement stairs to hang our with the kids again.I recently ran out, my order was going to be delivered in a week. I had to run to the vet by day 5 and buy the pills, as he could barley get in the house.Dasuquin has given my Ole man back his spank, personality, and puppy side back.Ver másVer menos
