  I’ve been feeding my large breed dog Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula for a while now, and overall I’ve been really impressed with the quality. One of the main reasons I chose this food was because real chicken is the first ingredient, and it doesn’t contain a lot of the fillers you see in cheaper brands.Since switching, I’ve noticed better digestion, more consistent energy, and a much healthier-looking coat. I also like that it includes joint support ingredients, which is important for larger dogs as they get older. My dog seems to genuinely enjoy the taste and finishes every meal without hesitation.It’s definitely a little more expensive than some other dog foods, but in my opinion the ingredient quality and overall health benefits make it worth it. Like any food, it may not work perfectly for every dog, especially picky eaters or dogs with sensitive stomachs, but my experience has been very positive overall.If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality food for a large breed dog, this is one I’d absolutely recommend.Ver másVer menos

  Best dog food for my golden

  The only dog food we will give our dog. Wonderful ingredients, supports health for large breed dogs. My golden loves how it tastes! Doesn’t give off a gross oder like the cheap brands.

  Great quality dog food! My dog enjoys the chicken and brown rice flavor, and I’ve noticed improved energy and a healthier coat. The ingredients seem high-quality, and it’s been gentle on digestion. Definitely a reliable choice for large breed adult dogs

  The choice of what food to feed our dogs is never an easy one; differences in breed and size and digestion make what's good for one dog not necessarily good for ours. What I can objectively say is that Blue Buffalo dog food is filled with high quality ingredients and they make many formulas (ex. puppy, large breed, older dog) to match the needs of most dogs. It is certainly pricier than the economy dog foods, but then again, it is reasonable to expect to pay a bit more for higher quality feed.From our experience with Shelby, our black lab, Blue Buffalo is the food she likes the best and the food that her body responds to the best. When she was a very young puppy she was fed Health Extensions brand, which was decent, but did not make a large breed formula. We then switched her to Blue Buffalo Puppy which she loved and which aided in her turn from a sickly shelter rescue to the healthy, shiny, energetic dog we have today. She eats this food voraciously (which is more than I can say for the Kirkland brand we tried for a few months), has plenty of energy, a super shiny coat (Kirkland brand left her with dry, itchy skin), regular digestive activity (yup, I went there), and she maintains a healthy weight. The price here on Amazon is significantly cheaper than the pet store and ordering online allows us to receive a fresh bag at our doorstep on demand.Blue Buffalo is the food we have found works the best due to the fact that it has high quality ingredients, it is made in the USA, there are many formulations to fit individual dogs needs and because the results thus far in our dogs health speaks volumes.I posted a before and after picture of our black lab. She is enjoying some Blue Buffalo Puppy in the before pic and is the big, healthy 1-year-old gal in the after pic. Good luck.UPDATE 10/2018: Our dog just turned three years old and has been eating Blue Buffalo food for just about her entire life; we switched from the Puppy to the Adult after about a year.   My dog approves

  This last order missed its target delivery date dog. He was very upset all orders before or target on. It’s hard happen to find something else for your supper.It’s exactly what he ordered for his menu. He says it taste and quality is just what he expected.
