  Oh, YES!

  This was a fantastic purchase at a great price point! The puzzle is colorful and well made with just enough wiggle room for each smoothly rounded piece that they can be easily manipulate by little hands.I actually purchased this as an aid for fine motor skill development for an 8 month old. He loves manipulating and playing with the pieces and will grow into the puzzling aspects soon enough.This is a definite “yes”!Ver másVer menos

  Great gift and so much fun for the family!

  Great fun for the family! Our 7 year old grandson was able to do most of the puzzle himself. We left on the table and then turned the lights out and suddenly it was the coolest puzzle ever! I also bought one for a moderate disability class at Jr high - they equally loved it! Pieces are sturdy andLarge enough for smaller hands to manipulate. Picture is colorful and varied, challenging but doable and rewarding when finished Because it GLOWS when the lights are turned off! Would make a great gift!!!!Ver másVer menos

  Great 1st Puzzle for Toddlers

  My little guy at 18 months is already quite a fan of dinosaurs, which makes his former dinosaur-loving mom and dad very pleased. We have another of these chunky puzzles Melissa & Doug First Chunky - Pets which he plays with quite a bit, so I thought the dino puzzle would be a hit for Christmas.What I like about these puzzles is that not only are they puzzles, but they can be used in other ways. For example, my son likes to play with the figures by themselves more than he likes to do the puzzle. In 4-6 months I would imagine he would start to be interested in using this more as a puzzle. The recommended age is 2 years and up. I would say this would be good for 1.5-3 year olds. The pieces are too large to choke on, and the fact that kids can use the figures for creative play makes them well worth the 10 bucks.I looked up these puzzles on Healthystuff.org, and the chunky puzzles all got a low rating, which is good. Low still means there is a detectable level of one of the 5 toxins the site tests for, and really there should be NONE, but I consider these to be one of the safer puzzle options out there for small kids.I have read other reviews that claim that the figures are not painted but rather stickers placed over wood. I have not found this to be the case with either of my two puzzles. Perhaps they have an older/newer version? We received our first puzzle as a baby shower gift in May of 2012, and I just purchased this dino puzzle. Neither one has stickers. The figures are very durable and I have not experienced paint chipping or anything. My son is rather rough with his toys and has chewed the animals from the pet puzzle. It has held up exceptionally well.I would highly recommend these puzzles. It saves from having to buy both puzzles and wooden figures. We will be getting a few more.Ver másVer menos

  Perfect for toddlers

  My 18 month old grandson loves these dinosaurs. They are big and soft and easy to hold. Very happy with this purchase.

  Best brand for toys

  Bought this as a gift thinking it’s a puzzle for when he’s young but could be used later as figurines for imaginative play. Great quality and colours. What I would expect from this amazing brand!
