Fun and Great Quality Puzzle for Toddlers
Setup/First Impressions: No setup needed—just open the box and it’s ready to play. The puzzle pieces are a great size for little hands and the colors are bright and cheerful.Quality/Performance: The wood feels solid and durable, not flimsy at all. The chunky pieces are easy for my toddler to grab and put back, and they don’t chip or peel like some cheaper puzzles.Experience: My toddler loves naming the animals and using the pieces as little toys outside the puzzle board. It’s both fun and educational, helping with hand-eye coordination and learning animal names.Would I Buy Again? Absolutely. It’s sturdy, engaging, and has already become a favorite toy. Great product for babies !
Very nice quality. I used removable wall strips to stick the board to the wall, and added small Velcro pieces to the back of each puzzle piece. Now my baby can stand, pull the pieces off, and stick them back on.

Toddler Puzzle
This puzzle is the perfect size for my toddler. The pieces are big enough for her to grab them and put them back. This is also a sturdy puzzle and good quality.

Cute pet puzzle is a hit
I bought this for my then 18 month old grand daughter to play with when she comes over. I'm always buying her new toys so she has quite a collection at my house now. I knew this one was a hit because as soon as she saw it, she picked up the little yellow cat and kissed it! Later that day, she insisted on to taking the two cats with her in the stroller when we went on our walk. She mastered the puzzle part very quickly so that was not much of a challenge for her. I think the age recommendation should be 12 months instead of 24 months. But, she continues to pick it out of all the other toys in the basket to play with in other ways. She has learned to identify each of the animals and say their names: "poodle", "turtle", "yellow cat", "black cat"... (Grandma just loves to hear her sweet little girl talk!) And, the animals frequently end up being part of other play activities like building with blocks, hide and seek, etc... The construction seems very durable. The pictures look painted on to me-- not hand-painted, maybe silk screened-- but not stickers like other reviewers have reported. Maybe Melissa and Doug changed the manufacturing process because of the complaints. Ours has been played with twice a week for the last three months and still looks brand new. Overall, I think this will be a fun and cute toy for a long time.Ver másVer menos

My grandson's favorite!
I've purchased this twice for my grandson to play with, but only because my dog chewed up a couple of pieces from the first puzzle. Normally I would have not worried about it but my grandson loves this puzzle so much I wanted to get a new one. As an 8-month-old he loved just holding the animals and petting them. :) Now that he is almost two he can easily do the puzzle, but we also talk about the color of the animals, etc. He never grows tired of it. Great gift for that toddler you know!
Melissa & Doug brand makes great products and this is no exception. Thick, chunky pieces that are easy for learning hands to grasp. Clearly cut shapes for quick recognition and the same image in the cut-out for where the puzzle piece goes. It's nice to have different shapes, poses and breeds of the animals to teach that not all dogs and cats look exactly the same. My daughter loves this puzzle, says the name of the animal and makes the noise - or she makes me make the noise with her.Ver másVer menos
