Fantastic for storing sketches on 4x6 note cards
I don't actually store photos in this -- I use it for 4x6 note cards. Specifically, I keep a stack by my desk to sketch on while I do my homework, and file them away in this photo album. Otherwise bits of paper with doodles and figure drawings get everywhere. Point being, though, I can't really speak to the potential for photo discoloration, and I don't know and frankly don't care whether the paper is actually archival quality. That said, I really like this album. It's cheap, durable, and a good size to store in my desk, the color looks great, and my sketches are easy to insert and don't fall out or anything. The paper and covers feel nice. It's not like the expensive leatherbound archival photo albums my mom uses, but it's nice for my cheapskate student needs. At two sketches per page, I fill this up fast enough that it feels satisfying, but there's still a lot of room left. There's a small section of page with printed lines by each photo slot where you can write labels. If you shuffle your photos around a lot, you might not like this, since it does take up some space. There's also no window on the spine to label the album, and it's hard to find sticky labels that will actually stick to the fabric, so if you desperately want to label your photo albums on the spine I would look elsewhere. When this album arrived, it had a distinctive glue-ish odor. I set it on a shelf for a day or so before putting anything in, and the smell hadn't totally dissipated by then, but... close. Now that it's been lying around in my house for a few months I can't smell it at all.Ver másVer menos
