  Just what the Doctor ordered!

  This review is for the "Truform 20-30 mmHg Compression Stockings for Men and Women, Thigh High Length":I broke the absolute heck out of my ankle and got reconstructive surgery. The post surgical swelling was so bad it became the primary reason my recovery was delayed. After 2 weeks the surgeon recommended a thigh high compression sock with this preface: "I recommend this to ALL my patients and almost none of them take the advice."I did and couldn't be happier.I'd never used a compression sock before. Speaking to friends who had got me really worried. It seems socks are prone to coming apart, not staying up, or simply not providing consistent graduated compression in the right places and at the correct rate. I shopped for DAYS to try to make a confident and effective purchase. I need my leg!I can not begin to tell you how happy I am with these True Form socks. I only needed 1 sock, so I got 2 pairs to get me through 4 days before I had to run a load of laundry. These things are perfect!It takes a lot of strength to get a sock on and off. Every time I do it I'm convinced I'm going to rip the things but it still hasn't happened. I've read the reviews that say they don't stay up and this hasn't been my experience at all. I'll go a step further and point out that they don't move an inch over the course of my day. The band stays exactly where I put it and I'm putting it on as I climb out of bed in the morning and taking it off when I'm climbing into bed at night. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I haven't had to fidget with or adjust a sock once.I've washed them several times making sure to follow Truform's simple instructions, "cold water, like colors" and making sure not to use fabric softeners. I would understand if they fit a little differently after a wash but these did not. They've been consistent and as effective today as they were the first time I put them on.I'll say that I was really meticulous about measuring before I made my purchase. I was well within the range of each measurement for the size I purchased. If you find you're at or outside the range on a measurement I'd probably reach out to Trueform before making a purchase.I'm really REALLY impressed with the product!Thank you Truform.   I measured myself and got a perfect fit with the size I chose and I love having the closed foot

  These have a perfect fit and they stay up unlike the previous pair I bought. I made sure too measure my leg in order to get the right size and the fit was perfect. I really like having the enclosed foot versus the Open foot because the first pair I bought with the foot hanging out was uncomfortable wearing a sneaker with a sock because it would roll up and create a huge bulge that was so uncomfortable then I tried it without a sock and it still rolled up a bit. Not these they just stay right where you put them and the foot feels great and I forget that I have them on.Ver másVer menos

  Great stockings

  Great fit, appearance, compression and quality. Next time I might opt for large instead of my usual medium size, for a little extra length for my 29 inch inseam.

  Great product! They will keep your legs firm and ready for the day

  They stay in place, they are comfortable, they look good, very nice fabric and it’s just a good product. No other way to put it down. I feel like these are completely worth your buck. The upper band will probably make you a bit itchy after a long day, but no long term injuries or discomfort, just right after you take them off and that’s it.Ver másVer menos

  I was told by my doctor to get some compression socks for chronic venous insufficiency. They measured me at the office. I ordered these, another pair here and some others, much pricier, elsewhere, based on those measurements. I'm 55cm in the thigh, 36cm at the calf, and 21cm ankle. I bought the medium. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now.They seem to fit well when I put them on, gripping in all the expected places, but not too tight. However, all of the ones I got start slipping down as soon as I start moving and are down by my knees within an hour of putting them on, although they do stay in place below my knees. So half score is the best I can give them... They aren't providing compression to the upper part of my legs at all and I might as well just wear knee-highs. I'm considering getting some sort of garter to help hold them up, but wish they'd actually work as advertised!There is some room in the toes for wiggling, so that's good. Plus they don't squeeze my feet like some of the knee high ones I have. I hate having my feet squeezed!Also: why can't they make these in colors? Just black or pale white man skin tone? If I have to wear them, I want something fun!Ver másVer menos
