Great Translation
My children are bilingual, but I do a pretty poor job of speaking to them in spanish. In an attempt to further nurture their spanish skills, we decided to start reading our novels in spanish. This is a lot of fun, because they already have a love of books, and they're fluent enough in the language to understand what's going on.We've had some hits and some misses with spanish translations of great english works, and Eragon is a definite hit. The translation is very natural, and reads as if it were written in spanish rather than rote translated. For example, it includes sayings/turns-of-phrases that are specific to spanish rather than english.I believe the spanish used is more "Spain spanish" rather than "Latin-american spanish", but this seems to be mostly the standard for written works.In terms of difficulty, it is not an easy work (I find myself looking up words and using the kindle translation feature from time to time), but it is no more difficult than the original work in English.My 9-year-old and I are loving the story, and the occasional pause to look up words/phrases has not detracted from that at all.Ver másVer menos

Me pareció un buen libro. Estaba buscando algo de fantasía y sí lo encontré. La historia en general me gustó, aunque la lectura en varias ocasiones no te atrapa ni te da la necesidad de seguir leyéndolo. No obstante, sí lo recomiendo, es un libro entretenido que muestra todo el aprendizaje del chico, el personaje de la dragona es mi favorito: sensata como una dama y agresiva, por no decir caprichosa.Ver másVer menos

Más Fantástico de lo que recordaba
Obviamente es un libro que todo fan de la fantasía debe de leer por que es fantástica. Leí este libro hace varios años y ahora que salió la noticia de que Disney hará la adaptación retorne para refrescar la memoria y estoy fascinado como ahora que soy adulto entiendo y aprecio la historia de una manera deferente a cuando la leí en mi adolescencia. Ahora continuaré con los demás que si recuerdo como crece la historia de una manera épica.Ver másVer menos

Excelent
This is an excellent book, it have all you can expect from a epic fantasy book. And I love the fact that it's very clean, no bad language nor sex on it. Highly recommended not only for young people but for adults who enjoy fantasy books.
