Loved it!
Honestly I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did! I love a good paranormal romance and this one was so fun but I also really enjoyed all the magical elements and rules behind the characters and the events as well that I’m hooked and want to read every book in this series asap cause it’s the perfect run romance world that I can escape into.Eva is just a normal girl who discovers that she can see through the magical world and see all the different magical creatures and then at the same time meets an attractive demon that holds her attention immediately especially when they play music. Ash can’t feel much due to his curse so he’s very dry and funny and it’s my favorite type of humor in these types of books so I was addicted from the start. I also loved the interactions with his brothers and all their different personalities, backstories, and powers that I need all of their books immediately too!Either way, can’t wait to read the rest of this series!Ver másVer menos

4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫My Funny Demon Valentine is such a fun, entertaining paranormal read. This is the first book in the Hell Bent series and it follows Evangeline (Eva), a musician, and the a demon prince Asmodeus (Ash) who has escaped Hell and is in hiding on Earth with his brothers. Ash is cursed to be bland, causing no woman to see him. He loved music and enjoyed listening to Eva play, so imagine his surprise when she saw him and spoke to him. I enjoyed seeing the romance between them blossom as the story progressed. The story was action-packed, suspenseful, scorching hott, and highly entertaining. The banter and antics between Ash and his brothers had me amused. The family secrets when revealed had me at the edge of my seat to see what would happen. There were some emotional scenes and an ending that sets us up for the next book in the series. I really enjoyed this novel and would definitely recommend it to paranormal romance lovers. 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧The audiobook was narrated by Kirsten Leigh. She was fantastic, bringing the varying personalities to life. Her voice was clear and understandable and it was an absolute pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.Ver másVer menos

Cute, spicy, fast read
A cute demon romcom that set the scene & introduced us to a cast of characters for an ongoing series of interconnected standalones!If I hadn’t been busy with work I probably would’ve finished this in a day; super quick read!

Windy City but with Demons
Four demons walk into a bar (no, not a joke), freshly escaped from Hell… and poor Ash (aka Asmodeus) is still cursed. He’s colourblind, can’t taste or feel anything, partially invisible, and perceived by humans as about as attractive as a dining room table. Or toilet paper. Or cardboard. The metaphors alone had me laughing out loud. Then he meets Eva…. a violinist who can actually see him, and their first interaction is painfully awkward in the best way. He keeps calling her “human”, doesn’t own a phone, hasn’t heard music in 200 years, and blurts out the weirdest things imaginable. I was hooked almost immediately.This book is funny, light, and ridiculously charming. Ash is completely clueless about what’s normal for humans and constantly asks if things are “abnormal,” which never stops being hilarious. I adored the body positivity with Eva ~ confident, comfortable, feminine, and desired without qualification, and the way Ash looks at her like she looks at cake. The world building pulled me in fast, especially once things start getting weird with Eva’s dad, a grimoire and Ash mysteriously regaining his senses through music 🎵Ash discovering emotions might be my favourite part. He doesn’t understand feelings beyond guilt, so watching him try (and fail) to explain attachment, affection, and love is awkwardly vulnerable and genuinely sweet. Add in his overprotective demon brothers, a cat who hates demons (except one), and found family chaos, and I was fully invested. The smut to plot ratio is perfect ~ it enhances the story instead of overtaking it. Funny, heartfelt, and utterly charming, I loved this book and I’m officially obsessed with this universe!! 😈❤️Ver másVer menos

So glad I found this series
This was an entertaining, funny, actiony, and steamy read with feels. Ash (H) is a demon prince who has escaped Hell and is in hiding on Earth with his brothers. Due to a curse, Ash is bland as wet cement to women, but Eva (h), a musician performing at a club the brothers go, sees through his curse. The best part of this story for me was actually probably the banter and relationship between the four demons. I ate it up and I'm looking forward to more. The romance between Ash and Eva is also wonderful and surprisingly (given how unfeeling demons are supposed to be in this world) heartfelt and emotional. I was a bit worried that Ash would only be focusing on Eva because of her ability to see through his curse and not for her (also a worry of hers once the info comes out), but that worry quickly dissolved. This is a third person, multi-POV narrative. No ow/om drama, neither are virgins (H is a lust demon so prior to the curse, was very promiscuous).In addition to the romance, there's suspense and action as Hell is hunting down the escaped demons, family drama, secrets being kept, and the fun of culture clash between demons and humans. Several side characters popped off the page and hopefully continue in the series. This was a pretty emotional read for me at one part and I did cry. I'm hopeful that particular storyline resolves more through the other books. There's also a fantastic twist at the end that sets up the next book. I'm curious how the other demons' stories will play out and to learn more of their backgrounds. Great first book to draw someone into a new world.Ver másVer menos

Loved it all the way through
Omg was so good. Loved that they found each and omg the way he loves her is just standard. Their relationship grows so much throughout the book and the dynamic changes in just the right way. So so good would definitely recommend it. On my way! To read the next book rn!!!!!Ver másVer menos
