A fast story with heart
I’m usually drawn to thrillers with strong characters, and this one had both. Harlan and Willow felt real from the start, and I kept wanting to know what would happen next. The West Texas setting also gave the whole story a very vivid feel.

Hard to stop reading
This felt like one of those stories where every chapter pulls you into the next. I liked the mix of danger, drama, and the bond between the two main characters. The ending definitely made me curious about where the trilogy goes next.

You know where you stand in this one
In a place of injustice you have Harlan who saves Willow in this fast paced thriller. They run from racism, family issues and a past abuse in the start of this trilogy. You don't want to even skip a paragraph in this one.
