Exceeded all expectations
I have used the Plaud Note Pro device for a few days now and have been blown away by the capabilities of this tiny little device. I don’t remember the last review on a product I wrote, but this little thing is so good I felt compelled to share.Clear recording and the best AI note summaries I have seen across any platform, this thing is worth its weight in gold if you use it right and in the correct setting.One of my favorite features is the AI suggestions given based on issues identified during meetings, and the clear to-do check list that you can check off in-app, all done automatically. With the push of a button to start/stop, it couldn’t be easier.I was especially impressed when I took it to a car dealership and recorded the interaction of buying a car. There was loud-ish music playing (with clear lyrics), but the device identified that as background noise/music and it wasn’t included in the notes summary afterwards.One feature I didn’t realize it had prior to purchase is that you can use the desktop app to record virtual meetings, so if you are in a public place and don’t want to blast meeting audio, you can record the meeting virtually with headphones for the same effect. As soon as you enter a virtual meeting, the desktop app will pop up asking if you want to record.Overall, this thing has exceeded all of my expectations and if you work in a corporate environment, it is incredibly useful.Ver másVer menos

One of the best purchases I’ve made for work
Five stars without hesitation. I use the PLAUD Note Pro constantly for work, and it has completely changed how I handle meetings and conversations. It’s super light weight you don’t even know it’s on your phone.The recording quality is excellent, but the real value is what happens afterward. Instead of trying to take detailed notes while also paying attention to a conversation, I can stay focused on the meeting and let PLAUD capture everything. Having the recording transcribed and summarized afterward saves me a ridiculous amount of time.The AI summaries are especially useful. They pull out the important discussion points, decisions, and action items without forcing me to go back through an entire recording. I also love being able to search through previous conversations when I need to remember exactly what was discussed.It’s compact enough that I barely notice carrying it, the controls are simple, and starting a recording takes seconds. Battery life has also been excellent for my day-to-day use.There is an ongoing cost if you need more transcription time than what’s included with your plan, which is worth knowing before buying. For me, the amount of time it saves easily justifies it.If you spend a lot of your day in meetings, interviews, sales calls, or any situation where good notes matter, this is an incredibly useful tool. I’ve tried plenty of productivity gadgets that eventually end up sitting in a drawer. This isn’t one of them. I use it constantly.Ver másVer menos

I love this AI voice recorder
I love the Plaud Note Pro. It’s a solid AI voice recorder that makes capturing and organizing meetings and calls so much easier.The transcription and summary features work well, and it’s especially useful for me, who needs clean notes without spending hours typing everything up afterward. Amazing device and Company.
I do not leave many reviews but this is well deserved. This is a fantastic device as well as a fantastic company to deal with. I am a teacher and use this for the many professional developments I go to as well as team meetings. This device keeps everything organized. It remembers the voices once you identify them and identify a them in future recordings. It gives actionable items to complete and will also turn the meeting into a visual flow chart. The battery lasts a long time per charge and its small discreet profile with its magnetic backing means it is always ready and available. It does a great job picking up speakers in a small room or in a large auditorium the noise reduction levels are great.This is also a great company to deal with. I hadn’t used my Plaud for the summer and when I turned it in the battery didn’t charge. The company immediately trouble shot with me and quickly and easily sent me a replacement as well as minutes to make up for inconvenience. They communicated well they fixed a situation and I love this product. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.Ver másVer menos

Good, with caveats
Plaud is incredibly useful as a meeting and/or telephone companion. It'll record your call/meeting, summarize the high points and give you a transcript (as well as audio file) of what transpired. You can go back to refer to what was discussed and decided. I recommend checking into privacy issues re: how the data is used, where it goes in the cloud, if it's trained on, etc., and how it lines up with your company's policies so you don't get into trouble.The device itself is incredibly thin--but it requires a slipcase to attach to your phone via MagSafe. Thus, the thinness of the device is negated somewhat by the "full package"; even more annoying is that the Plaud requires a proprietary magnetic charging cable. And that means that even if you still feel the case and device together are thin enough to carry around, you'll also need to carry that proprietary magnetic cable. I'm guessing they went the magnetic route to make the device itself as thin as possible, negating the ability to use a USB-C port, but a device like POCKET (I think they go by the name of heyPocket) is roughly about the same as the Plaud in its case--and uses a USB-C. I prefer the Pocket setup because if I forget the Plaud cable and I need a charge, I'm screwed. If I'm using my Pocket and it needs juice, I can use the same USB-C cable I carry for my phone.Last note: Plaud gives you a bunch of minutes free per month. When you start getting close, you'll get notified that you're running out and that you may want to purchase a plan to keep using it. Since I've been comparing the Plaud to Pocket, Pocket offers unlimited minutes, as well as a subscription plan for additional features. I don't need those additional features, so I prefer Pocket's free/unlimited setup. Including a couple of photos of Pocket as I don't have Plaud device with me at the moment--but those are on Amazon's sales page above.Ver másVer menos
