Former MSI owner, they’ve definitely up their game.
Performance is great, battery life is all right (to be expected). Definitely is a value of money if you get on a sale. As far as heat and the fans, the fans are the loudest within the industry (which is also expected), but still pretty good, does generate heat, but to be expected on a gaming laptop, especially on budget builds. The display is definitely way better than their previous laptops as well as the speed is pretty good no complaints.Only complaints I have is with windows, but not with MSI

Esta buena pero no sirve mucho en los juegos cuando esta desconectada no se si sea normal porque es mi primera laptop pero lo digo por si le puede ayudar a alguien pero la lapto conectada a la luz ficiona bien

Amazing gift for my cousin!
My Three Cents:I just bought this MSI Katana for my cousin, it's a birthday gift. Me and him were looking at laptops for weeks and this one had the best specs for the price. My cousin is a big gamer, so he needed something strong.The screen is amazing. Its QHD and 165Hz, so the games look super clear and smooth. He installed his favorite game and it run perfect. The RTX 5060 graphic card must be really good. Also its very fast with the i7 processor and 16GB of ram. He says there's no lag at all.The 1TB SSD is also a big plus, he has so many games and it's nice to have all that space. The RGB keyboard is a cool touch, he loves changing the colors. Wifi 6E is fast too for his online games.I'm just really happy with this purchase. Seeing how happy my cousin is, I know I made the right choice. If your looking for a gaming laptop for someone, this one is a really good deal. I definately recommend it.

The key to a young man’s heart.
Got this for my college age son and in doing so achieved godhood. He was coming from a Lenovo he’d had a few years and was not sure what to with what was now before him. However it didn’t take long before i heard the screaming laughter and triumphant bellowing from his room as he uncovered his true calling through the unlimited power now within his grasp. Or as he put it, “yeah it’s good”
