Awesome computer very very happy with this.
Excelente laptop para jugar.
I really was looking forward to this laptop, but very disappointed in how it handles games. The first game I downloaded was WoW, and I can't even play it, the graphics rip, tear, and hitch constantly, and even worse if I use the HDMI to plug in a big monitor, plus the memory usage when just running WoW alone would go up to 80%, there is no reason it should be doing that, unless it's all the bloat ware running in the background, which I tried to get rid of most of it. As far as the Noise Level that was not an issue, and I do like the build, the design allows breathing room so it doesn't overheat, which is very important in a gaming laptop.I haven't really got a chance to see how well the battery life is, because I've spent the majority of my time just trying to get WoW to run without graphic issues, and because of the graphic issues I am returning it. Here is the deal, I am technical, and I work on computers for a living, but when I buy a computer, that claims to run games with ease, that is what I expect! I shouldn't have to do a ton of stuff to just play a simple game like World of Warcraft, this should work out of the box without tweaking anything. I am giving this a 3 star because I do love the case design, that is an A+, if it weren't for that it would get a 1 star.
6 people found this helpfulThe packaging was top-tier. It arrived incredibly fast, safely and securely packed inside an Amazon box, which contained an MSI box, which contained another box. It was like unboxing a high-tech Matryoshka doll. I also appreciated that the driver required a secure delivery code, ensuring the package actually made it into the right hands.Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends.Once I opened the final doll, the unit I received was deeply problematic from day one. The display suffered from severe, constant graphics glitching right out of the box. Even more alarming, upon closer inspection, I noticed highly suspicious battery swelling that was actively pushing against the chassis.Because of these blatant hardware and safety defects, this unit had to go straight back. Leaving a buyer stuck dealing with a hazardous, defective device like this with absolutely no resolution makes for an incredibly exhausting experience. I’ve attached photographic evidence clearly showing the screen failures and the battery hazard so others know what to look out for.Given the hardware lottery and the safety risk of a swollen battery, I can't recommend risking your money on this specific unit. Look elsewhere to avoid weeks-long headaches.
1 people found this helpfulMy Three Cents:My Unc needed a serious laptop upgrade cause he wanted one for his work stuff but also to play games. He dont know a lot about specs, he just said he wanted it to be "real fast". I did some research and this MSI Crosshair A16 looked like a beast. It has that new Ryzen 9 and the RTX 5060, so I knew it would handle pretty much anything. I was a little worried it was too much, but he wanted something that would last a long time.He is totaly blown away. He called me after he set it up and was just talking about how smooth the screen is (that 240Hz I guess). He's been playing his games on max settings with no problem at all. And for his work, he said its super snappy, even with all his spreadsheets and 100 chrome tabs open. The 1TB of storage is also a huge plus, he wont have to delete games all the time. He keeps saying "this thing is a monster" lol. Def a good pick.
