I work a swing shift and sleep during unconventional hours. This mask is a life saver. I connect the speakers to a 528 HZ healing playlist on Apple Music and it drowns out all the neighborhood noise. I control the actual volume on my phone so it’s not too loud. It’s also very comfortable to wear.No more leaf blower and mower at the crack of dawn. The loud car engines, non-existent. Delivery and garbage trucks, Nope! Even the birds singing at 5am I don’t hear it. What I love is that because it’s connected to my phone, I will still hear my jarring obnoxious alarm. Also when my phone is on DND, I personally set who I allow to reach me in emergency. It blocks out the light and really tricks my brain into thinking daytime is nighttime. I truly cannot be without this mask. My sleep quality has improved soooo much. I might buy another one to have a back up.
7 people found this helpfulI've used it every night now for over a week. For the price I am very happy with it.The strap is adjustable, the cushion around the eyes and nose make it comfortable. I like that it is not pressed up tight against the eyes. The material is for me is none Irritating.Flexable and no issues with any smells from shipping.Easy to pack and take anywhere you may need it.It is bluetooth and connect easily to my Tablet or phone. It charged quickly and so far I have been able to get it to last at least 3 nights without recharging but I norally charge it on morning 3 so I know it will be ready for the next night. the sound it really good. I have been able to put it on and push the speakers over my ears.It is really nice to have light blocked out as I work nights and sleep days, and the sounds of a thunder storm or ocean waves I normally put on it very relaxing.I use it for sleep but I have used it a few times for when I am using my leg compression and with this I have a nice relaxation session going.Very happy with this.
4 people found this helpfulI’ve been using this for a little over two weeks primarily for sleeping, blocking light, and listening to music/sleep meditations while falling asleep—and overall, it’s been a really solid upgrade from standard sleep masks.😴 Sleep & Light BlockingThe light blocking is genuinely effective. If you tighten it enough, it achieves near-complete blackout—even when wearing a full face APAP mask, which is impressive. That alone makes it much more functional than the basic sleep masks I’ve used before.🔊 Sound QualityThe audio quality is surprisingly clear—not tinny or muffled like I expected. It’s easily loud enough without being uncomfortable, and there’s no noticeable sound leakage. Perfect for sleep meditations or music without disturbing anyone nearby.🛌 Comfort & FitI’m mostly a back and side sleeper, and it works well for both. The speakers are minimally noticeable when lying on my side and not uncomfortable. It also stays in place throughout the night without shifting around. The only downside:To get full light blocking, you do need to wear it fairly snug. When tightened enough—especially combined with a full face APAP mask—I do get some mild pressure/redness on my ears. It’s not painful, but it’s noticeable and worth mentioning.🔋 Battery & ConnectivityBattery life easily lasts through the entire night. I charge it daily just out of habit, but it hasn’t died overnight. Charging is simple, and the controls are easy to find and use in the dark.Bluetooth has been completely reliable—no drops, and it reconnects quickly without issues.🧱 Build QualityFeels decent—not premium, but definitely not cheap. No durability issues so far, though I haven’t tried washing it yet.💰 ValueCompared to regular sleep masks (with or without eye cups), this is a big step up in functionality. Being able to combine blackout + audio in one device is genuinely useful.⸻✅ Pros* Effective light blocking (even with APAP mask)* Clear sound quality* Comfortable for back and side sleeping* Stays in place overnight* Reliable Bluetooth connection* Battery lasts all night❌ Cons* Needs to be worn tight for full blackout* Can cause mild ear pressure/redness when snug⸻🧠 Final VerdictIf you want a combination of light blocking and built-in audio for sleep, this is absolutely worth it. It’s been helpful even with severe insomnia, which says a lot.I’d buy it again.
Works really well! I personally got this to drown out the sound of birds chirping at 4am that kept waking me up, since I live on the ground floor of an apartment with not the best insulation or soundproofing. I'm happy to say that my sleep is better, and it is also quite comfortable to wear on my face, aside from its main purpose of blocking out sound. The sound quality is fine, and it's a great value for what you pay. Charging is straightforward, and the appearance is what you'd expect of an eye mask.
11 people found this helpfulThis mask is very simplistic, light, with easy adjustability. The material is comfortable and blocks out sunlight and other fairly well (probably better for those without a deviated septum like myself). Washing the mask isn’t fun. It machine washes a dries well but is just annoying to get the electronic equipment back into the mask. For only doing having to do it every couple of months and directly after purchase though, I do not consider it a problem worth losing a star on. The Bluetooth component works well and is perfect for back sleepers. It doesn’t block out surrounding noise and the sound played from the mask can be heard by others depending on the volume. That said, if you sleep on your side it can quickly become a nuisance within the following days of using it. I was able to mitigate the problem by adjusting the speakers in either ear to be more over my temple instead of my ears directly but it didn’t completely solve the issue.Overall I’ve switched to just a standard, light blocking, sleep mask and wearing headphones over my ears as I go to sleep. I usually wake up with them to the side of my pillow as I take them off during the night. If you’re not doing anything specifically with binaural patterns I would suggest just putting your phone under your pillow on a light volume. The product all in all achieves its goal and is probably the best in its class, I say without having reviewed others, but given current speaker technology, the only way to eliminate the headache problem, would likely be from some much more expensive speaker solution.Bottom line, this absolutely beats sleeping with earbuds. That causes worse ear pain and can lead to loss of the earbuds. It is at the expense of privacy but that’s a different story.TL;DR:- Great for back sleepers and okay for side sleepers with a slight, non-damaging, modification and tolerance.- Machine washing is annoying but doesn’t end the world.- If you don’t need binaural audio, you’re likely better off getting a regular light blocking sleep mask with your phone under your pillow or headphones on.- This product does beat using earbuds considering earbuds are much more prone to ear pains or long term problems in my experience.
