A very reliable unit
I purchased my first of these UPS units in 2019, and it provided dependable service for years. The only maintenance it ever required was replacing the batteries every few years. In my experience with the many UPS systems I've owned, batteries typically last only 2–3 years, and this unit uses two of them. Replacing them is a simple process that only requires removing two screws and taking off the front panel. This time, however, when the unit displayed an error code, installing new batteries didn't solve the problem. It turned out that the internal charging circuit had failed, so the batteries were no longer being charged. Based on my experience, the charging system seems to be one of the weaker points of this model.Even so, I decided to purchase another one because the original unit gave me about seven years of reliable service, which I think is very reasonable for its price. The new unit arrived very well packaged, as shown in the photo. Setup was straightforward—just plug it in, turn it on, allow the batteries to fully charge, and then connect your equipment.Overall, I'm happy with this UPS. No product lasts forever, and getting seven years of dependable service from a reasonably priced unit is more than acceptable in my opinion. That's why I didn't hesitate to buy another one.Ver másVer menos
