Not so slim wallet
4 stars only because it is a bit bulkier than what I had in mind. Magnet to keep the flap secured is nice and strong. This is the first week using it so we shall see how it holds up. My other concern is the tightness of the front slots, I think over time it won't be as snug and the credit card might fall out.Ver másVer menos

Unique method of protecting your cards from RFID theft
This wallet has an inside holder for an id card such as driver's license, for easy viewing without removing it from the wallet. It has lots of space to hold cards, and a normal billfold area for actual money.A clever packet that holds the cards you want protected from RFID theft is inside; the cards slide into the packet and are captured there. They are released when you slide a lever on the side of the wallet so that they are held tightly and safely until you decide to remove them. The wallet is lightly held closed with a magnetic catch; but I wonder if this is a wise thing considering that some card's magnetic strips could be compromised by a close proximity magnet. In addition to the RFID protected area, there are many additional slots to hold cards on both the inside and outside of the wallet; use them as you see fit.The wallet is not extremely thin when folded, but folds evenly so that there are no high or low edges; it fits fine in most packets. I actually like that it is a little heavier than some other wallets because the weight reminds you that it is still there and hasn't gone missing. It is smaller than other wallets I've used, and certainly smaller than the three part, two fold wallets. The stitching is nicely done with no broken threads and no stray ends. There is some grain to the material used giving it that genuine leather look and feel.I give this four stars only because of my concern about the magnetic closure and if it might affect some card's magnetic strips. Aside from that concern, it is a five.Ver másVer menos

A little bit of everything...
OVERALL REVIEW: This bifold leather-ette wallet by Runbox has a card holder with “eject” button as the main compartment, a see-through pocket for ID on the inside, additional card pockets inside and out, plus a small bill holder pocket on the inside. It has a magnetic closure.QUALITY OF ITEM: Very GoodI have two other wallets by Runbox and this is by far my favorite brand. It's right between minimalist wallet and the “everything is in it” wallet. The credit card box holds from 1-7 cards snugly and they get “fanned out” when pressing down the eject button. The aluminum box is RFID blocking for increased security. I also LOVE that it has a magnetic closure keeping everything in its place. The faux leather [I ordered the fiber option] is very classy looking and does not mar very easily at all. Although not built to carry the kitchen sink, it has every feature needed in a wallet while occupying less space than traditional wallets. Although it is small, I like the bill holder pocket MUCH better than the money clip on other slim wallets, including Runbox.PROS: Lightweight, RFID blocking, extra storage, magnetic closureCONS: slightly thicker than other minimalist wallets. Small "pocket" for folded bills.WOULD I RECOMMEND? YesThis is a good wallet at a good price, with a combo of features and keeps credit cards safe. If you look for a coupon or a sale it is even more than worth it.Ver másVer menos
