Great eye friendly phone
The Nxtpaper 70 Pro is a great phone if you place a premium on eye care features. I’m very PWM sensitive and have no issues with this phone. Performance (non-gaming) is fairly snappy. The camera is pretty good vs other similar priced phones. One knock against this phone is the brightness level outdoors, and you do need to crank it up a bit, but I haven’t found that to be a big deal and there are no issues with brightness indoors. Battery is fine although Android Auto, which is a drain on most devices, hits this one particularly hard. It works great on Verizon with a sim card that was activated in another device. If you plan on activating with Verizon via eSIM, I’d be prepared for a bumpy ride at least for now.Of note: Wifi and Bluetooth work great but have a slightly shorter range than most other devices. TCL has some aggressive battery/app management so if this causes issues for you, I’d search around online for fixes as they do help significantly. There are not any very good cases available, the best you’ll be able to do is find a passable one. Although calls are fine, if you stream music through your phone’s speakers the results are mediocre at best. TCL’s customer service is horrible so if you think you’ll need to reach out to them at some point in the future, I’d look elsewhere.I’m giving five stars as I place a high premium on a flicker free experience.
