I set this up and tested it for a month prior to sharing my thoughts, aiming to provide valuable insights into its performance and dependability. To put it simply, it performs beyond my anticipation. This is essential for transporting a trailer or operating a large vehicle that has blind spots. I chose this one particularly because it was from auto-vox. I have shopped with them in the past, and their products have consistently been well-crafted and of excellent quality. This wireless arrangement is no different.Setting up the device was quite simple and uncomplicated. The guidelines are clearly written and easy to understand. With some basic skills in mechanics and electronics, anyone can complete the installation within just a few hours. Both the left and right cameras are clearly marked to ensure that they are not positioned incorrectly. Initially, I thought I had installed them in reverse because the side views appeared upside-down. However, after a bit of troubleshooting, I discovered that the monitor's menu allows for adjusting the viewing rotation. The wireless monitor offers a variety of settings to customize your preferences for recording, camera display, and image clarity. I installed these cameras on the cap of my work truck to enhance my visibility while driving, especially at night. The cap obstructs my rear view, making the camera essential, and it functions even better than I expected. The cameras can be powered by tapping into the wires of the parking lights or daytime running lights, but you can also connect them to a different power source or a separate switch if preferred. They allow for significant adjustments to provide the best possible view of your environment. I recommend checking the camera views before permanently affixing them in their chosen locations. I decided to use the parking light wire since it was the easiest solution for my needs, and it operates perfectly. The wireless monitor includes a 12-volt cigarette lighter-style power cord with a USB port for any additional requirements. It also comes with a USB-only power cord as an alternative option. Both cords feature on/off switches to help conserve battery life when not in use. The monitor itself attaches to a provided stand which employs strong adhesive tape to secure it to your dashboard, windshield, or any relatively flat area. The base of the stand offers some flexibility for surfaces that have a slight curve. Once I connected everything and turned it on, it functioned immediately without any need for pairing or device setup just switch it on and it's ready. The video clarity is impressive for a wireless setup, allowing me to clearly see objects or vehicles that are in my blind spots. I can use the monitor's menu to display the camera feeds in any combination of one, two, or all three cameras. I also have the ability to rotate each camera's viewing angle in 90-degree increments. The recording capability is another valuable feature, especially in the event of an accident or for general review. Throughout the month I've used this nearly every day, I've encountered no issues whatsoever. The settings I configured have remained unchanged. The cameras have consistently delivered reliable performance without any external interference or connectivity problems. Overall, this is an excellent camera system that is user-friendly and dependable. I strongly recommend it to anyone seeking to enhance their rear visibility while driving.
