  Love!

  We are transitioning out of the toddler cups into bigger cups. These have been perfect for my three and four-year-old the size the weight whenever they’re full the functionality of the straw, the cleaning process and the way the lid pops open to refill it leak proof is great. Holds ice and cold water all day. It’s super easy to clean and the qualities is great especially for the price.Ver másVer menos

  Love this water bottle!

  Perfect water bottle for kids! It’s not too heavy, very easy to drink from, keeps the water nice and cold and doesn’t leak. I love that the mouth piece has a cover and locking mechanism. Everything comes apart nicely to clean as well. We had a piece on our lid cover break and Ello customer was great and sent us a replacement free of charge.   Do you need delicate cups for fine dining? Buy these! Otherwise I am begging you to shop elsewhere.

  When I first got one I loved it so much I bought 7 more. That’s 8 total bottles. Do you know how many functioning lids I had after 6 months? I had 4. Two of them I had to just buy outright from the website. That’s six broken lids. I’ve included a few photos.There are three problems.1. These lids are delicate2. They are all one piece3. There are actually two types, apparently they did an ~upgrade~ and changed a gasket and the nipple. This is foreshadowing.There are simply too many points of failure. Hinge between the handle breaks? You no longer have a flip top bottle because cannot replace that part. Tiny plastic clasp on the clear cover breaks? Bottle will not close. Tiny part on the second plastic layer breaks? Bottle will not close. These are not serious damages. I’m talking about pieces of plastic 1 mm in size.I would be aggravated but get over it if the parts could be fixed or replaced, but no. If any one of these many fragile moving parts so much as cracks, the entire lid is now garbage. Throw it away. Now you must go buy a new lid from the Ello website.“You must be really hard on them.”No.The most recent break happened when the bottle fell off an end table onto high pile carpet less than three feet in height. None of these breaks have happened on a hard surface. I barely leave the house with them.Let’s talk about gaskets. Good god. Can you replace them? No! Hope you’re not prone to misplacing a tiny band of rubber at any point. If you are, congrats, your entire bottle is now garbage. You can’t even buy the gaskets on the website, lol.I guess at some point the Ello engineering team decided there was a “better” setup because the first two bottles I got have different gaskets and nipples. What this means is that not only can I not replace a missing part, I can’t even swap parts between the bottles that aren’t broken.There is absolutely no excuse to sell a water bottle that is both this fragile and this hard to fix. If I broke a faberge egg I would assume it was unrepairable, but this isn’t a display piece. It’s a bottle literally meant for carrying around and interacting with normal daily obstacles.BONUS FEATURE (just kidding): if that smaller gasket gets loose at all, the bottle does not seal and you don’t find out until 22 ounces of watermelon juice spills in your purse. You can close the lid with the gasket out of place. You can even lock it. Now I always flip the bottles upside down to verify they are actually sealed.SECOND BONUS FEATURE (still kidding): some of the lids come with a tiny rubber stopper that does not allow air to pass through it. This means when you open the top lid you create an air pressure imbalance and whatever is inside your bottle becomes Old Faithful and I hope you’re ready to clean off your lap, steering wheel, car seat, purse, glasses, face, and surrounding three foot area. These are the worst.Y’all I wanted to love these bottles. I DO love them. The idea is 10/10. The execution is -100000/10.

  Best size for travel

  I looovee ello water bottles so much!! they're highly functional and easy to clean ! Just be careful, I dropped it pretty bad once and once the cap breaks it's done for 😢 but it's soo good and doesn't leak:) altho sometimes the water pressure builds inside after u close the cap so then it will kinda burst out of the straw, but I prevent this by making sure I wait a second or 2 after I take a sip so that the water kinda goes down the straw!Ver másVer menos

  New toddler favorite

  We love this water bottle! The colors are cute and have survived several drops by the 2 year old. The spout is durable and withstanding chewing and pulling quite well. So far we have had it a few months with daily use for outings only and we have not had any leaks. It holds ice all day (6+ hours) even in the hot car this summer. This cup has also been very easy to clean but we also only use water and not while eating so those factors might change your outcome. All water bottles seem to be a bit pricy lately but this one has proven to be worth its cost for us.Ver másVer menos

  Need a replacement lid!

  Love the water bottle but I am definitely disappointed that the lid cracked already. I bought it about a month ago. And you can’t buy replacement lids. So now the lid doesn’t close properly and leaks everywhere.

  Breaks easily but good warranty

  I'vepurchased 2 ello brand bottles and both have had lids break within the forst 30 days of use. If you have younger kids thay drop bottles its probably not the bottle for you. However, I reached out to Ello and they replaced the lid quickly and for free.

  Best water bottle for kids
