Very pretty hummingbird feeder
The first thing I have to say is that this is the most attractive hummingbird feeder I’ve seen. It brings out nostalgic feelings in me: its faceted red globe that holds the nectar reminds me of my mother’s antique lamp which had an amber globe until I broke it [insert sad face here].This past spring was my first excursion into hummingbird feeding, and I loved it. But here in Florida the hummingbirds usually just pass through on their yearly northward and southward migrations so I can’t actually report on the hummingbirds’ reactions since we’re between migrations right now. It’s definitely the right color to attract them, and its ports and perches look good, so I’m optimistic. I’m interested to see how our hummingbirds react to this feeder’s metal flower ports. The less plastic I use the happier I am, and the entire feeder base is metal, which should be sturdier than the typical plastic bases. It screws into the glass part via threads in the bottom part of the base; this holds it on securely but is easy to unscrew and also makes the two base parts come apart very easily for cleaning. I have to pry apart the base of my plastic feeders which is not easy and I’m always afraid will crack it.This feeder holds 20 oz. of nectar, which is twice as much as my other glass feeders. People in areas with more temperate weather will be happy to have the greater capacity, but this is more capacity than I currently need: When the temperature is higher in spring and fall I have to change the nectar every couple of days or sometimes daily before it ferments or otherwise spoils – not good for little hummingbirds – and have never had more than three hummingbird guests at a time. But if a hoard of hummingbirds ever descends on us here I’ll be ready to feed them.Ver másVer menos

Sturdy construction
The deep red faceted glass on this GelinRedcap Hummingbird Feeder is absolutely beautiful. I’ve never seen one with such a rich, saturated color. I also love the globe shape, and the slightly smaller size is perfect for me since I rarely fill my hummingbird feeders to capacity. The black metal accents create a striking contrast against the deep red glass. Everything about this feeder feels well made. The metal perch that circles the feeder is sturdy, while each of the five red flower feeding ports is nicely detailed with ridged petals and a small metal ring surrounding the feeding hole. They feel much more substantial than the little plastic yellow flowers found on many hummingbird feeders. The red base has a long threaded neck that the glass globe screws into, creating a secure, well-built connection. The ant moat is another feature that impressed me. It’s larger and taller than others I’ve seen, giving ants plenty of space to get trapped before they can reach the nectar. It’s a small thing, but I was glad they included a brush, and be that’s the perfect size for cleaning the feeding holes. This is a pretty hummingbird feeder with sturdy construction, and some features that set it apart. At just under $20, I think it offers excellent value and is one I’m very happy to have added to my garden.Ver másVer menos

Very nice hummingbird feeder that’s bright and durable and very easy to use
Ordered this hummingbird feeder because I needed new feeders that were smaller and held less nectar so there would be less waste throughout the summer. I’m very pleased, it is a really nice and durably made feeder. It is a nice solid red color and the feeding ports are bright red so they attract hummingbirds very well. Its a great right size and holds the perfect amount of nectar for my needs, I’d rather fill it every few days than waste a lot from the summer heat. It’s made with a nice thick durable glass material and the base is made with metal material instead of being made of plastic. Hopefully it holds up well in the sun a doesn’t end up fading too fast but I will update accordingly if so. They are very easy to screw/put together and are able to refill/clean them with ease. The included ant moat is great to keep insects out and keep the feeders free from pesty bugs that hummingbirds dislike. The little cleaner tool they come with is a nice little addition also that helps to clean out the feeder ports. Overall really great item for the cost and functions exactly as intended. Happy with this product and would definitely recommendVer másVer menos

Beautiful hummingbird feeder that attracts plenty of visitors
This hummingbird feeder is both functional and beautiful. The glass reservoir gives it a much nicer look than plastic feeders, and the red accents are perfect for attracting hummingbirds. It looks great hanging in the garden and adds a decorative touch while serving an important purpose. The 20 oz capacity is a great size because it holds enough nectar without needing constant refills. The four feeding ports allow multiple hummingbirds to feed at the same time, and the built-in ant moat is a great feature that helps keep ants from reaching the nectar. The feeder is easy to fill, clean, and hang. The glass bottle feels sturdy, and the design allows you to see how much nectar remains so you know when it's time for a refill. I appreciate that it combines a pretty outdoor decoration with a practical feeding solution.Overall, this is a high-quality hummingbird feeder that looks great and works well. It would make a wonderful addition to any backyard, garden, or patio for anyone who enjoys watching hummingbirds.Ver másVer menos

Pretty red feeder that attracts hummingbirds
I really love that this feeder is red — it seems to attract hummingbirds way better than say the blue one I tried. The glass feels well made, and the 20 oz size means I’m not refilling it constantly. The four feeding ports make it easy for multiple hummingbirds to come in at once. The ant moat is a nice bonus and works as long as you keep it filled. It hangs easily and looks great outside. I also like that it comes with a little brush for cleaning out the ports, which makes it a lot easier to keep everything tidy. I didn’t have any leaking issues, but making sure the base is tightened evenly helps keep it stable.Overall, it’s a pretty, sturdy feeder that brings in hummingbirds fast and is simple to maintain.Ver másVer menos

Beautiful and Functional Hummingbird Feeder
This hummingbird feeder has brightened up my outdoor space and drawn new visitors to the garden. The bright red glass reservoir catches the attention of hummingbirds right away, and the four flower-shaped feeding ports give multiple birds plenty of room to enjoy nectar at the same time. Watching these little visitors gather around has made my patio feel like a peaceful backyard retreat. The design is both attractive and practical. The built-in ant moat on the hanger helps keep unwanted pests away without using chemicals, and the leak-proof construction keeps nectar from dripping onto my deck or porch. I also love how easy it is to refill and clean—the wide-mouth opening and fully removable parts make maintenance simple. The durable glass construction feels sturdy and holds up well outdoors, while the 20 oz capacity means fewer refills during busy feeding times. It’s a perfect combination of beauty, convenience, and functionality. Whether you’re an experienced bird lover or just starting to attract hummingbirds, this feeder is a wonderful way to add color and nature to any garden, balcony, or patio.Ver másVer menos

Beautiful!!
Try as I may, I have never been able to get hummingbirds to come up to my porch. I've had a few plastic feeders, but since they never worked, I stopped trying a few years ago. However, I saw this feeder and I just thought I'd try again.I've had so many hummingbirds! I haven't been able to capture them in pictures yet, but I've been enjoying watching them. This feeder is gorgeous. The globe is glass, and the landing piece is metal, as are the flowers. The little reservoir is plastic. I love the ant trap on the hook. I haven't had one come with that before, and the first day it had quite a few ants in it! I can't help but wonder if that is why I didn't have success in the past. This feeder looks antique, and works wonders. I am totally pleased with it.Ver másVer menos
