I will buy again
Just what I expected. Easy to use. Beautiful quality. Good shine. Durability is up to prep, but personally do mani and pedi, lasts 20/30 days. Great price.

Reaction to the Gel
The outcome is good. This is listed as HEMA and TPO free, but I still had a reaction to it. Even though I do like the product, I will not be able to use it.

I love this product
I’ve been using Apres products for years and they never disappoint. I was excited to try this set of base and top gel polish. The base coat went on smoothly in thin layers, the liquid was more liquid than gel which kept me from applying too liberally. The instructions said 30 seconds cure time but I did my usual 60 seconds. I followed it with some red gel polish and then applied the Apres top coat, two layers double cured at the end. My nails experienced no chipping or peeling at the 2 week mark, there was also no discoloration. I did use this on my natural nails, next time I’ll try it with extenders as well. The odor wasn’t strong or unpleasant, the fully cured nails had no lumps or air bubbles, so I would call it both high quality and durable. Apres polish is more expensive than some brands, but you’re definitely getting quality for the slightly higher price.Overall, give this set a try, I hope you love it as much as I do!Ver másVer menos

Nails at Home!
I really like this base and top coat set. The formulas go on smoothly and self-level nicely without feeling too thick. The top coat gives a really glossy, salon-like finish, and my manicure looks shiny and fresh for days. I also like that the set is HEMA and TPO-free, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great value for money for a quality base and top coat set for getting a long-lasting, professional-looking manicure at home.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Application
I like how smoothly both of these apply, and the self-leveling formulas make it easier for me to get an even finish without visible brush marks. The base gives mine a nice foundation, while the non-wipe top coat cures with a glossy shine and saves me an extra cleanup step. The bottles are a little more expensive than basic base-and-top sets, but the professional-looking finish makes them worth it for me.Ver másVer menos

Not the fanciest, but an absolute staple -- and great for DIY/beginnners
An absolute staple in my nail setup, the Aprés Base Gelcoat & Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat Set is a true oldie but a goodie. In an industry flooded with new formulas every week, this pair remains my reliable, go-to foundation and finish. If nothing else, with Apres you know the quality you're going to get is good; you know it's going to be compatible with other brands, and thanks to Amazon, if you run out... you can usually get some really quickly. Is the top coat the absolute glass-like, high-shine finish you might get from harder-to-find, super-expensive boutique brands? Maybe not quite. But what it lacks in extreme, high-maintenance shine, it more than makes up for in pure usability. It’s simply not fussy. The self-leveling behavior is smooth and forgiving, giving you a clean, chip-resistant finish without pooling into your cuticles or bubbling up.Plus, the peace of mind with the clean formulation—TPO-free base and HEMA/TPO-free top coat—is a huge win for long-term nail health. As a universal base coat and universal top coat, this duo plays well with almost every gel system I pair it with. It’s long-lasting, dependable, and something I always make sure to have on hand in my collection.Ver másVer menos
