Bath Time Just Became the Best Part of the Day
I purchased this bath toy set for my eight month old and the transformation in bath time enthusiasm has been remarkable. What was previously a somewhat fussy routine has turned into genuine playtime that my baby actually looks forward to. The dolphin basketball hoop concept is creative and engaging, and even at this young age my little one is fascinated by dropping the floating balls through the hoop. The water animal toys add extra sensory variety to keep attention going throughout the whole bath. The set feels well made with no sharp edges or concerning small parts for the intended age range. Kept 20-month-old entertained in multiple settings
This is a review of the “Fisher-Price™ Dolphin Dunk Bath Set, 5-Piece Baby Bath Toy with Dolphin Basketball Hoop, Floating Balls & Water Animal Toys for Babies & Toddlers 6M+”I was a little worried my 20-month-old would be too old for this toy, but I think she may have found it more engaging than she would if she were younger. I initially stuck it to the outside of our dishwasher while I was doing things in the kitchen so she could pretend to play basketball while I was busy, and it was a big hit. I didn’t give her the fish and whale balls at that time, though, as I was worried about them breaking since they’re a type of hard plastic. The two plastic basketballs that come with it seem sturdy, however. She spent a good 30 minutes dunking the balls and chasing them around. Once bath time rolled around, she thought it was neat to have the dolphin added to the hoop and the fish and whale balls included.The set itself is pretty basic, as it’s meant for 6+ months. However, it kept my toddler engaged and having fun in multiple settings. It comes with 4 different balls, a net, and a dolphin base (which isn’t necessary for the net, but is a cute addition). Overall, this seems like a decent toy that will keep any younger child engaged for a while. I like that it can be used in different settings and it’s small enough it could travel easily. I would recommend this and will probably buy it as a present for others in the future.Ver másVer menos

Fun bath Activity easy to clean.
This is a really fun bath toy, and my toddler absolutely loves it! The dolphin design is adorable, and the plastic feels sturdy and well made. It comes with everything you need to start playing right away, and the basketball concept keeps my little one entertained throughout bath time.My only concern is that one of the balls has a small hole in it. I'm not sure if it's intentional since it isn't a squeeze toy, but I'm personally not a fan of bath toys with holes because they can trap water and potentially harbor mold or bacteria over time.The other downside is the suction cups. They don't hold very well on my tub and seem to fall off every couple of days. I have several other suction cup bath accessories that stay put without any issues, so I don't think it's my bathtub surface.Those minor issues aside, it's still a toy we use all the time. If it falls down, I just stick it back up, and my daughter goes right back to playing. She loves standing up and shooting the balls through the hoop while I'm washing her, so it keeps her occupied and makes bath time much easier for me. Great bath toy
This has been a fun bath toy for our toddler grandkids.The little water animals float well, and the dolphin basketball hoop has been a big hit during bath time. I was also impressed with how well the suction cups stick to the side of the tub. Once they're in place, they stay put.The pieces are well made and just the right size for little hands. It has definitely made bath time more fun.Overall, this is a cute, well-designed bath toy that is definitely toddler approved. It gets played with almost every night in our house.Ver másVer menos

Playful bath toy set that should get plenty of use as kids grow
I ordered this as a gift for my great-nephew, with the idea that he can enjoy it now and then share it when his new little brother or sister is big enough for bath time. It’s a cute little set, and I think it will make tub time more fun instead of just being about getting cleaned up.The dolphin hoop is adorable, and the mini balls are a nice size for little hands. I like that it’s simple enough for a young child to understand—toss the ball, make a basket, splash around—but still engaging enough to keep them interested. The extra floating toys are a nice bonus too, especially for a baby who mostly just wants something to grab and explore.It also seems like a fun way for an older sibling to “play” with the baby during bath time later on, which is one reason I liked it as a gift. Fisher Price Dolphin Dunk Bath set
This has been an enjoyable addition to my 13 month olds bath toys. Everything came clean and well packaged. The size of the balls are perfect for little hands, but not too small to be considered a choking hazard. The balls are not soft, which isn’t a negative for me. The dolphin and fish float well, the fish does take water in however. I noticed they added two drain holes in the fish so the water comes out very easily. The basket balls do have holes as well, however, they’re not big enough to really be able to get water out all the way. The suction of the hoop is also good with three suction cups on the back. Two Weeks of Heavy Toddler Play and It Hasn’t Budged Once
My daughter absolutely loves this bath toy, and it has quickly become a highlight of our nightly routine. The included balls are the perfect size—large enough to instantly grab her attention, yet small enough for her toddler hands to easily grip and navigate through the toy. The variety between the rolling balls and the little character pieces is fantastic, keeping her totally engaged the entire time she's in the tub.Setting it up was an absolute breeze. You just pop the suction cups out of the packaging and slide them right into the slots on the back of the toy. I really appreciate that the kit includes an extra backup suction cup, just in case one goes missing or loses its grip down the line. So far, we haven't needed it; the toy sticks incredibly well to our tub wall and has easily withstood two weeks of heavy, enthusiastic nightly playtime without budging once. It is a sturdy, well-designed winner for bath time.The reason I'm taking a star off here: The fish and whale balls do not drain easily, which makes me weary of mold growth. The basket balls that come with this don't have the same problem even though they do have a small drainage hole in them as well. I would just see having to replace all of the balls that come with this — the sea creature balls probably after about 3 months, and the basket balls after approximately 6. But if bath toys have drainage holes, that's the name of the game!Ver másVer menos

Fun bath toy
I chose this Dolphin dunk bath set for my toddler to play with in the tub. The suction cups made it easy to put up for bath time fun. They have a good suction and stayed up with no issues. The balls were rather hard (more than I expected). However, this is a fun way to play in the bath and work on hand and eye coordination. My daughter is currently obsessed with fishes so she loves the fish floats more than playing basketball. I think the price is reasonable for what you get and it allows for play with various ages. Even as they grow out of baths this can br attached to mirrors or windows and continue to play and extend the distance from the hoop.Ver másVer menos
