  Outstanding!

I bought this watch for my mom. She's 85 years old and has fallen a couple of times. She doesn't always carry her phone, which would enable her to call for help. This watch is a GREAT idea! I was able to put it on our phone carrier network (Patriot Mobile) very easily. Her phone is connected via Bluetooth to her phone, and it also has its own LTE data. So, if she happens to be away from her phone, she can still call for help. The watch is equipped with a fall detection function. It will automatically connect her to someone who can call 9/11 for her. She can make and answer calls just like a phone. It has so many other fantastic functions. I'm happy to say that it is user-friendly; probably one of the greatest features since Mom is 85. You can adjust the font size for better readability. It's durable and nice-looking. I actually purchased some stretchy nylon fabric bands so she is able to put in and remove it more easily than with the band it comes with. The 40mm is plenty large enough. The 44mm would be huge on her wrist. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!Ver másVer menos

Perfect size for my small wrist.

I'm really enjoying this watch. I have small wrists, so this 40 mm works the best. The larger face dial would have been overpowering my wrists and heavier. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the wristband I ended up ordering a different kind that is magnetic and works best for my wrists.Ver másVer menos

Excellent choice Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 40mm

I really like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 (40mm) but, the only complaint I have is the battery life. I thought the battery would last longer. I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro pror to purchasing SG watch 9. The Watch 9 is great. A lot of updated features, such as the improved Samsung Health.Ver másVer menos

So easy to set up. And phone calls without my cell near, PRICELESS!

I LOVE THIS WATCH! It's so easy to learn to use... And,,Making phone calls without your phone is priceless. When I'm working in my yard I don't have my phone with me. If I fell and couldn't get up for whatever reason I can call for help from my Galaxy 9 watch.Same if I forget my phone. The Watch is always with me...I LOVE THIS WATCH!!!Ver másVer menos

Not Recommended. Wait for Galaxy Watch 10 or 11 LTE or get Watch 8 LTE.

Not recommended! I've had to change my opinion of the Galaxy Watch 9 LTE after some time with it. Best to wait for the Watch 10 or 11 LTE for hopefully a much bigger silicon-carbon battery and several other needed changes. The latest round is discovering Samsung apparently started selling these watches without the ability to buy spare charging pucks anywhere retail! The existing puck for Galaxy Watch 5/6/7 (and maybe 8? can't confirm) does NOT work with Watch 9 LTE. Comes up with a yellow triangle "incompatible charger" symbol. After time speaking on the phone with Samsung Customer Service I was able to order what is supposed to be one through Samsung Parts, run by Encompass (part# GH96-17240A). Having spare car & office pucks for a watch with a battery that only lasts for a day is crucial. I have two spare pucks for my old Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for that reason. UPDATE 9/23/26! THIS JUST GOT WORSE. No word on the Watch 9 charging puck order, so I called Samsung Parts for status to learn it is now BACKORDERED UNTIL 11/14/26 and worse they say that is just an estimate, could be longer. :( Two MONTHS from when I placed the order for something that should have been available when the watch came out. :( Wow.The alarm volume on the Watch 9 has turned out to be so soft I can barely hear it. I've had to go back to my old Watch 5 Pro for timing the yard sprinklers and such. I can hear that one in the next room. The "M/L" watch band is woefully short, as many others have posted now. It should be a "M". Samsung needs to make an "L" available and ideally an "XL". The band can be replaced for some other brand, but it is the principle of the thing. For $450, a large company like Samsung should have a properly sized watch bands available to ship with the watch. The Watch 5 Pro band has the same problem. Nothing screams "excess profit" like this issue, IMHO. :(The battery life is a joke, as many people have posted, lasting around 24 hours when many other watches will go for days. The battery life in my old Watch 5 Pro is even less, about 18 hours, so I figured that I would get used to it, but hasn't happened. Especially irritating knowing silicon carbon batteries with much greater capacity are out there. One of the reasons I hung on to my old Galaxy 5 Pro for so long is that the glass display is completely surrounded by round metal and therefore chip-proof. Well sure enough this display already has an edge chip on it. :(The Watch 9 does have a few good things still. I bought it to get LTE so I could make an emergency phone call if the phone isn't around. That still works via the Spectrum Mobile $11/month watch add-on plan. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions are updated from the Watch 5 Pro and work better. And the biggee: the aluminum Watch 9 is light enough to wear all day long where the titanium Watch 5 Pro wasn't, without becoming annoying. But even then the Watch 9 LTE is 80% the same as the Watch 8 LTE! The case size, display, memory, and bio-sensors are all the same. Might was well get a cheaper (used, even) Watch 8 LTE to carry over to the watch 10 or 11.I'll be looking forward to trading-in this Watch 9 LTE the minute Samsung comes up with a bigger-battery LTE watch that will go a minimum of 2 days on a charge. Also looking for Watch 10 or 11 to have 5G rather than just LTE, Wi-Fi 7 & 6GHz vs. just Wi-Fi 6, and satellite communication - which the Snapdragon Wear Elite chip in it already supports. C'mon Samsung, time to step up your game here. :(

  Much improved over watch 6

Love my new watch first new one since watch 6. The print is bolder the screen quite clear and sharp, the speaker is great, the apps are improved. Everthing except the batteries. Still could use some improvement. Overall love this watch

Got it fall the fall protection

Wife likes it. Does more than she will use but I wanted the fall protection and the ability to make phone calls from the device. I did not get the Bluetooth version as I wanted her to be able to call from anywhere. Does require a service but for 7 dollars a month cheaper than fall protection devices.Ver másVer menos
