Love the touchscreen!
This system was very easy to install. It is completely wireless for transmission from the cameras to the monitor. All you have to do is supply a 12 volt power source to the monitor and to each camera. The monitor and all the cameras are equipped with a standard barrel connector. They also include the matching barrel connector on multiple pigtails of different lengths so that you can wire them in to the 12 Volt system wherever is convenient to the location. They have also included a 12 Volt cigarette lighter adapter with a switch to turn it on and off and a barrel connector to connect it to the monitor or one of the cameras. They have even included a splitter with multiple barrel connectors so that you can test the whole system before installing it. They have thought of everything and there are extra wires so you'll be sure to have plenty of options. I plugged everything in right out-of-the-box and everything synced up and worked perfectly. The monitor even has a touch screen so that you can go through the setup menu easily to fine tune things like your backup markers. The picture is great on the monitor and it looks good in the color picture that you get in the daytime as well as the black and white picture you get when the cameras automatically switch to infrared in the dark. An SD card is not included but if you choose to supply one you can use the DVR function to record the footage. There are two different mountings supplied for the monitor or you can come up with your own mount. It is a very versatile system. The main camera would attach to a Furrion ready mount on the back of the trailer if you choose and the other cameras can be easily mounted with the included plates. The only trouble I had at all with this was that I couldn't figure out how to switch from the different camera views. The instructions didn't say but I quickly figured out that you just had to swipe left or right on the screen to move from one view to the other. I really can't find anything bad to say about this system. Between the great build quality and the ease of installation it is a winner and I highly recommend it.My philosophy is that, for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. I DON'T take into consideration prices or issues with shipping. I stick to a fair and honest evaluation of the product itself.
