  Great heavy-duty rolls for sous vide (strong seal, easy to size)

  I bought these vacuum sealer rolls mainly for sous vide, and they’ve been a solid upgrade from pre-cut bags. Since they’re on a roll, I can cut the exact length I need for steaks, chops, veggies, or marinades, no wasted bag space. The textured/embossed side pulls a strong vacuum with my suction sealer, and the seals have held up well through longer water-bath cooks without annoying slow leaks.The material feels thick and “commercial grade,” and I like the peace of mind of BPA-free bags for cooking. I’ve also used them for portioning and freezing, and everything stays nicely protected and organized.Small tip: leave a couple extra inches for sealing and do a double-seal if you’re packing anything with juices.   Very happy and packing lots of food.

  Cost effective, work great, and comes in the two widths I needed. Great for freezing produce and meats and vacuum sealing herbs and dehydrated stuff.I use this with an Anova sealer… works well and is a better fit than pre-cut bags. I may look for a separate impulse sealer, so we don’t have to run the Anova once to seal the bottom and again to vacuum sealing… but that would be the case with any rolled plastic.FYI: you can write on the sealed packs with a Sharpie.Ver másVer menos

  Home-made bags for various occasions! 🤔🤪😲

  Great Value! Easy to use

  Good, high volume, too much for the roll holder in my vacuum sealer!

  Works well, the quantity is so large that the rolls are too thick to fit in my vacuum sealer! Until I use them more to get thinner, I have the roll behind the sealer instead of the roll holder.

  The most expensive part of owning and using a vacuum sealer is buying the bags. Purchasing these bags, rather than those at the local store, has saved me money repeatedly. They work just as well. They're made of a strong plastic that seals well and gives the food air-tight protection from freezer burn. I've never had a problem with the plastic tearing when bumping against other frozen items and have never had one that didn't properly seal.To me, this is the best way to go.Ver másVer menos
