Cute but cheap
This is a fun little instrument set, especially if you have a Paw Patrol fan. The bright colors and character theme immediately caught my toddler’s attention, and the maracas have definitely been the favorite piece. They’re lightweight, easy for little hands to hold, and fun to shake along with music.Unfortunately, the quality is pretty inconsistent across the set. The drum feels very cheaply made and comes apart much more easily than I expected during normal play. The harmonica also feels inexpensive and isn’t something I see lasting very long.The tambourine and maracas are the stronger parts of the set, and they provide plenty of entertainment, but I do wish the drum had been built more sturdily.Overall, this is a decent starter music set if your child mainly wants to explore different instruments, but don’t expect premium quality. I had a thought that "this should come with several sets of adult earplugs," but as an adult we should be held responsible for our decisions. I got my child a freakin' drum. And Maracas. And a tambourine. And a harmonica. WHAT. WAS. I. THINKING?Ha. Well, noise aside, she really enjoys all of this. We don't really use the harmonica as that's a bit advanced at her age, but she wears the drum around and bangs on it, and shakes the heck out of the Maracas and tambourine. It's adorable, it's fun, and yeah, it's a bit loud.Being able to store everything INSIDE the drum is a nice feature. Makes it a lot easier to store all the pieces and keep track of it.Do I regret getting this? It depends on the day... But generally, no. It's cute, and it encourages physical play and creativity. Cute Paw Patrol Set That My Son Enjoys
My 5-year-old was immediately excited when he saw this Paw Patrol instrument set. The bright colors and familiar characters were a big hit, and he couldn’t wait to start making music.The set includes several different instruments, including a drum, maracas, tambourine, harmonica, and drumsticks, giving kids plenty of ways to experiment with sounds. Everything arrived assembled and ready to use right out of the box, which I always appreciate with children’s toys.The instruments are lightweight and sized appropriately for small hands. The drum is not assembled and there is a piece broken out of one of the edges.
I got this Lollipop - Paw Patrol Girls Musical Toys – Complete Toddler Instrument Set as a birthday gift for my granddaughter so she has not seen it, yet.The drum is not assembled as the product page says. The top and bottom of the drum are loose because the instruments are inside the drum. They are fairly easy to assemble, just line up the little knobs with the slots, snap on, and then turn to lock.As I was doing this, I realized that there is a piece broken out of one of the edges. The drum still works and it’s not in a place where I think it will be an issue.The drum sticks are thick enough that they should last. The drum isn't very loud so the child can be sent to their room and not annoy people!The tambourine and the maracas are sized for toddlers, so they aren’t very large, are light weight, and easy for a toddler to play. They aren’t very loud.The harmonica is rather cheaply made. Only the five middle holes make a musical sound and you have to blow really hard to get any sound out of them. And that was me blowing, not a child. The edges of the holes are not smoothed off so the edges are not very comfortable when you try to use your lips or tongue to play the harmonica.The straps are adjustable but the ends of the straps are frayed. Fun starter instruments for little hands
My daughter grabbed the drum first and has not put it down since. The set includes a drum, a tambourine, two maracas, sticks, and a small harmonica, and everything is sized right for her hands. The straps on the drum and tambourine make them easy for her to hold onto while she plays. The maracas rattle with a decent sound and the tambourine has a nice jingle to it. The harmonica is more of a simple whistle than a true instrument, but it still gets used in her parades around the living room. The colors and Paw Patrol characters on each piece keep her interested, and she was able to pick everything up and start playing right out of the box. Recommended.Ver másVer menos

My toddler loves this set!
My toddler loves this set! It would also make a great gift because it came packaged cute with the smaller instruments inside the drum and the top and bottom of the drum both detach and attach easily. Unfortunately, my toddler kept jumping on the drum even though I told her not to repeatedly and after a few days of that, the drum eventually broke. I wouldn't say that makes it flimsy though because before it caved it actually withstood a lot of standing and jumping from a 25+ pound toddler and very rough playing. She still enjoys the rest of the set, her favorite thing is the maracas, she hasn't quite mastered the harmonica yet, but she gets excited when she manages to blow into it and make a sound. This is a great gift or toy for your own child and the best part, no batteries needed and no screen involved! She also enjoyed looking at all the pictures of the Paw Patrol characters, the pictures are bright and sharp and the color scheme is cute.Ver másVer menos
