works perfect for the pricepoint

For the price, it works like a dream! It was easy enough to set up, and it's a lot of fun to be able to casually stream games to friends. With that said, there is definitely some lag-- especially if visuals get intense/colorful. I wouldn't recommend it for streaming anything timing-sensitive (e.g. rhythm games, fighting games, etc.) unless you are able to view the original stream as well.Ver más

Good item, well pleased

I bought this to use my macbook as a monitor for game consoles. I'm not technologically inclined AT ALL, and it took a few youtube videos to figure it out... But I'll be darned if it doesn't work. And it works WELL. Very impressed, especially for the low price.Good stuff, thanks.Ver más

PC didn’t even register it worked

Didn’t work. Pc didn’t even recognize it was plugged in any device I had. I probably had a faulty batch but nonetheless didn’t work so im bummed.Nice quality cord wise though.

Great Value for the Price Point

Honestly, the build quality seems solid, and it was pretty plug and play. The braided cord sheath seems nice and thick. Being able to switch from USB-A to USB-C will come in handy as well, though I haven't had a ton of time with it yet. I'll be suggesting this to friends of mine in the market for starter capture cards.Ver más

Pretty good

I try to stream it on my switch 2 and it works fine definitely plug and play and it's a good affordable game capture card if you want the basics and nothing too crazy

There are a lot of higher priced solutions but this allowed me to connect cameras to Resolume Avenue, bypassing the need for a $1,500.00 video switcher.

Incredibly satisfied with this capture card

HDMI capture cards are surprisingly handy these days, especially if you're someone who works on computers and electronics. I often only have a laptop with me and don't always have a monitor nearby, so being able to use my laptop as a display has saved me more than once.Setup is about as easy as it gets. Plug the device into a USB-C port, connect your HDMI source, open OBS or even a basic webcam application, and the video feed appears almost instantly. It feels very much like a plug-and-play device.I didn't need to install any special drivers on my setup, though that may vary depending on the operating system you're using. Either way, getting it up and running was quick and painless.The video quality has been great for troubleshooting, testing equipment, and monitoring devices when a dedicated display isn't available. It's one of those gadgets I bought for occasional use but ended up reaching for far more often than I expected.Overall, a fantastic little tool to keep in a laptop bag if you work with technology or need a portable HDMI display solution.Ver más

Decent HDMI/USB 3.0 adapter, input/4K@30, output/1080p@60, USB-C+A, aluminum alloy, plug'n'play

This is a decent HDMI/USB 3.0 video capture adapter/card that just works (plug'n'play in Win*) without any user intervention during driver install. It's able to take 4K@30FPS as input; however, the OUTPUT is only and capped at 1080p@60 FPS which is considered low by today's standard. Nonetheless, it's still adequate in most cases (and for my particular use case) although ideally I wanna see at least 2K@30 FPS at this point in time. The quality for both video and audio is pretty decent without much degradation for 1080p videos. I also like the fact that it comes with a built-in USB-C/A cable and indeed that's one of the primary reasons for the order because I hate misplacing those little USB-C/A adapters.✔ Note that this is one of the very few of similar style (and to a certain degree price tag) that's actually rated for USB 3.0. Many others with similar design, style, and size are actually USB 2.0 (and about half the price as well). With that being said, USB 2.0 is capable of at least around 25-30 Mbps (varies quite a bit depending on a number of factors but 25 Mbps is the min with 33 Mbps being the typical max) and that's usually more than adequate for 1080p@60Hz assuming the source is a high quality 4K source. As such, if you don't required USB 3.0 speed, there are many other options and alternatives out there that are around $11-$16.The overall physical build seems decent without any visible defects and it has an aluminum alloy shell typical of most others of similar design and style at this point in time; nothing fancy here. However, unlike most others that come with a USB-C or USB-A cable along with a separate USB-C/A or USB-A/C adapter, this one comes with an integrated 2in1 USB-C+A cord which I very much prefer and appreciate since it's just that much easier to use and work with without having to worry about misplacing the adapter.Unfortunately, this particular model doesn't have a HDMI loop out-port or a 3.5mm speaker out/mic in ports that few others have, which is a bit of a bummer. It's easy to install/use and it does come with an integrated USB-C/A connector, which I do appreciate. The audio/video quality is decent with support for YUY2. However, it's a bit pricey at $20 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, versatility and performance. Simple and Easy to Use Capture Card

This Acer video capture card works great and does exactly what I wanted it to do. It is an HDMI capture device that connects through USB C and also includes a built in USB A adapter, which is really convenient depending on what device you are using.I mainly use it to capture gameplay from my Steam Deck onto my MacBook, and setup was incredibly easy. I did not need to install any additional software or drivers. It pretty much worked immediately after plugging it in, which is always something I appreciate with tech products like this.The capture quality at 1080p looks good, and I was honestly surprised by how little latency there seems to be. I tend to play more turn based games, so maybe I notice it less than someone playing competitive shooters, but personally I think the delay is minimal.It is also a really compact little device, which makes it easy to throw into a bag or keep with the rest of my setup without taking up space.Overall, this is an awesome little piece of tech that works exactly as intended and makes capturing gameplay extremely simple.Ver más

Plug-and-play USB 3.0 video capture card works with macOS built-in software

This USB 3.0 video capture card was plug-and-play with my M4 Mac mini. I was able to use this to connect a set-top box to my Mac and watch and record video on the Mac using the Quicktime app. The device was also recognized on my Windows PC without any special drivers and I could use OBS Studio to preview and record HDMI sources. The adapter can connect to a USB-A port with the built-in adapter, or to a USB-C port if you disconnect the USB-A adapter. Video and audio quality was fine for my purposes; it can accept 4K sources but records only at 1080P maximum.Ver más
