Get them. High quality and amazing.
I’ve had these lights before from this brand a while ago and I’ve moved since so I got some new ones, absolutely worth it. Point blank period. They’re great quality lights, stick extremely well and won’t fall off easily, have so many different modes and customizations and provide amazing ambiance, and they’re just overall beautiful. Easy to use too. Also extremely easy to set them up and connect them to your phone and Alexa or google or whatever. Basically, get them. Govee is the top tier brand for LED lights in my personal opinion out of all the brands I have had they have held up perfectly with no problems and are definitely the best I’ve had. I did get them way too long though so I double stacked them and even that looks good and makes the modes kind of cooler honestly. You will not regret your purchase I promise.Ver másVer menos

Better than the monster brand!
I decided to redo my entire at home gym and figured I’d try this brand because they had really good reviews and so far I’m extremely happy with them. The installation was so fast the adhesive I was completely shocked didn’t even have to press for them to stick to the wall happy with the overall length for the cord as well. There are so many light options you can make your own very easy to set up the app highly recommend! I’m having trouble with uploading videos recently just says something went wrong but the brightness is amazing and they don’t get hot. I will be ordering more for my other rooms.Ver másVer menos

Decent
Pretty. They don’t stay connected to Google though. I had them connected for a while but then somehow it lost connection and I can’t get it back. Now I walk over and push the button like an adult to turn them on and off. Fragile when putting them up. It’s easy to get a short on thenVer másVer menos

The best LED lights I’ve ever bought! Easy installation, setup and use. The remote is literally by using the app on your phone and there are so many options and fun things to do with them. Bright, Easy to Use, and So Many Options
I couldn't be happier with these LED strip lights. They were easy to install, the app was simple to set up, and I love all the color and lighting options. Being able to customize the effects really makes a room feel unique.The lights are bright, the colors are vibrant, and the 100 foot length was perfect for covering a large space. They've worked great and have added a fun atmosphere to the room.If you're looking for quality LED strip lights with lots of customization, these are definitely worth the purchase. UPDATED!!!solution for bad adhesive AND broken strips
ok I'm completely updated my review. I originally rated it as 1 star I'm changing it to 5 based on the fact these lights ARE fixable... I have the 65ft ones and the 100ft ones... during install one half on my 65foot ripped...now I know everyone says that they can't be fixed but THEY CAN. you need a very specific 4 pin connector (ONLY for the 65 foot, 100 feet is a 3 pin connnector) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DY6KLK2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I don't know if the link will work but THIS is the type of 4 pin connector you need... now you may lose some length but you need to cut right at the edge of the copper (oval) connectors..DO NOT cut the copper cut past it, do the same on the part you want to connect (depending on what side you're on make sure the ends match opposite, like if you have the right side clipped then you need to have the left side clipped of the attaching piece... now with those clippys... instead of having the clip latch facing you and on the same side as the copper connectors, the clips need to face the back so that the conductive wire is on the same side as the copper make sure the pins puncture the copper.... I don't know if the little right angle pieces included work but the clips WILL make the 65ft 4 pin strips work full functionality.Now onto the adhesive issue... especially with the 100 ft at first the adhesive was NOT sticking at all.... I realized my walls have oil based paint... those lil alcohol swabs they give you aren't gonna cut it... you need 91% isoporolol alcohol you need to strip the wall of that top silky layer of paint (it doesn't really change the color, just lightens it slightly you can tell where you wiped so be precise) but wipe down where you want the strip to be and LET IT DRY, it should feel kinda tacky, the strips will stick to that...do small sections at a time and press the strip as you go... I did 3 rooms like this after the strip originally didn't want to stick at all.All in all the lights are actually awesome...yes they are a bit fragile during install and I have noticed that at least the 65ft does FAINTLY stay on (it's literally a pinprick of light in a few) and during install of the 100 foot if you touched that little black sensor? that is every few inches it would cause the lights to come on faintly while they were powered off but as long as you aren't touching them they don't come on.They aren't perfect and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them but they go on sale enough that they're worth it.wifi connection was smooth, alexa intergretion is ok but they don't play nice with alexa routines, other than off and on. the govee app is a bit complicated on the customizing side, there's a bit of a learning curve but it's not bad either...Will update in a month or so or sooner if something happens and I may try to upload a video if my explanation of the clips was bad

Great product
This was a request from our grandson. He had used them since April and they have held up well. It appears to be a more sturdy type and I researched many places to learn. Easy to put on and have some nice features. Well worth the price.

Severe Brightness and Color Degradation After One Year
Excellent app and features, but severe brightness and color degradation after about one year of daily use make these difficult for me to recommend.I purchased these during a remodel in mid-June 2025 and have used them regularly as ambient lighting ever since. I own around 25 Govee devices throughout my home, so I'm very familiar with the ecosystem and generally consider Govee one of the best smart lighting brands, especially when it comes to software. Unfortunately, these strip lights have not held up nearly as well as I expected.PROS-Excellent colors (when new). When first installed, these looked fantastic. Colors were vibrant, brightness was excellent, and they completely transformed the room. They only use RGB LEDs, so you won't get a true neutral white. If that's important to you, look for an RGBWW strip instead. For colored lighting, though, they create an excellent atmosphere.-The adhesive has held perfectly for over a year. Just make sure to thoroughly clean the mounting surface first. Govee includes alcohol wipes, but not nearly enough for installing 100 feet of lighting, so have additional wipes or a towel available.-The Govee app remains one of the biggest reasons I continue buying their stuff. Setup took less than 30 seconds, there are countless scenes and DIY options, segmentation is intuitive, and everything feels well thought out. On iOS, I genuinely think it's one of the best smart lighting apps available.-Setup with both Alexa and Google Home took only a few minutes. In over a year of use I have never experienced a disconnect. Even after power or internet outages, the lights reconnect automatically once everything comes back online. I have not tested with Home Assistant or Matter, so I cannot speak to ease or reliability of those.-Each 50ft strip has 15 individually controllable segments that can each have different colors and brightness. I programmed an NFC tag to turn on only the section above my bed as a night light, and setting up automations like this is very easy within the app.CONS-Color degradation over time. After roughly six months, the end of one of the strips began displaying noticeably different colors than the rest. For example, when set to cool white, the last section appeared warm yellow instead. Over time the affected area slowly spread, and eventually that portion of the strip displayed inaccurate colors regardless of what was selected.-Major brightness loss after one year. This has become my biggest complaint. These strips are dramatically dimmer today than they were when new. I recently installed another set of new Govee strip lights in the same room. With both products set to the exact same color and brightness, the difference is immediately obvious. The older strips appear significantly dimmer, enough that I often open the app to confirm they're actually set to 100%. Considering these are permanently installed accent lights, I did not expect this level of degradation after only a year.-Not actually one continuous 100ft strip. It consists of two separate 50ft strips connected to a single controller. That isn't necessarily bad, but it's worth keeping in mind when planning where to install. I installed mine with the controller centered between two rooms so each room received one 50ft strip.-Both strips always mirror each other. Although each strip has individually addressable segments, the two 50-foot strips cannot be controlled independently. Every color, scene, effect, and brightness change is duplicated on both strips. For example, the scene I mentioned earlier which lights only the section above my bed also lights a random section of my living room because those segments correspond to each other. It isn't a dealbreaker, but it's something to consider when planning your layout.-Music mode microphone is overly sensitive and responds to almost every sound, even at the lowest sensitivity setting you can whisper from across the room and it will react(I actually tried this). Footsteps, conversations, and other background noise constantly trigger effects. My workaround was covering the microphone with duct tape, which reduced its sensitivity enough that it mostly responds only to bass from my subwoofer or loud sounds. That actually works well for my setup, but obviously isn't an ideal solution.VERDICTWould I buy these again? Probably not.The lighting quality when new is excellent, and I still believe Govee has one of the strongest software ecosystems in the smart home market. However, replacing 100 feet of permanently installed lighting after roughly one year is not something I consider reasonable, especially considering the time required to install it cleanly.This is also the second Govee strip light product I've owned that has developed similar brightness and color degradation after about a year of daily use, which makes me wonder if I was simply unlucky or if this particular model is prone to aging this way.If your priority is the best app experience and features, these are great while they're working properly. But if you are looking for long term durability, I would consider researching other Govee models or different brands before purchasing.I enjoy the Govee products overall and hope this was an isolated issue rather than normal aging, because otherwise these would be very easy to recommend.

Espectaculares, cumplen lo prometido.
Están buenísimas, sin duda son una opción genial para empezar con la onda de las tiras LEDLa instalación fue relativamente sencilla y la medida es exacta (10 metros en este caso). La tira trae su propio pegamento en la parte de atrás, listo para ser desprendido y ser pegado poco a poco. Es recomendable limpiar la pared antes de instalarlas.Se realizaron todas las debidas pruebas.💠 El control incorporado: Es sencillo de utilizar y es lo más básico (encendido/apagado, colores base, modo música y ajuste de brillo); pero si se combina su uso con la aplicación móvil puede traer "choques" con las funciones, provocando unas especies de errores con las luces, pero nada que afecte su funcionamiento.🔶 Hay que considerar el uso de un solo dispositivo a la vez (o el control o la aplicación móvil).💠 Aplicación móvil: Es necesario crear una cuenta para utilizar las funciones que ofrece la aplicación, permite controlar prácticamente todo. Es posible crear tus propios patrones de luz (o escenas), así como usar todas las que trae la aplicación. Asimismo, puedes ajustar el brillo (intensidad) de los LED.🔶 Dale una explorada a todo lo que ofrece la aplicación en "Ambiente (Scenes)", sin duda hay mucho que ver para descubrir todo el potencial de estas luces.💠 Uso con Alexa: Su sincronización fue muy sencilla a través de la aplicación móvil. Si tienes la aplicación de Alexa en tu celular, rápidamente se vincula. Los comandos de voz funcionan correctamente.🔶 De usar comandos por voz, considera ponerle un nombre personalizado a tus tiras, para que te resulte fácil y cómodo pedir la instrucción. P.ej. "Alexa, enciende [el nombre de tus tiras]".💠 Función de música: De lo que más me llamó la atención de estas tiras, su función para sincronizar los LED de acuerdo a la música, o más bien, al ruido que capte el micrófono. Funciona bien siempre y cuando ajustes la sensibilidad del micrófono, todo para obtener el mejor resultado.🔶 Recomiendo usar el modo música a través del propio control, no de la aplicación, ya que es algo complejo su uso. Es importante mencionar que de usar el control, la fuente de la música debe estar cerca de éste mismo.✅ En conclusión: Es un producto que vale muchísimo la pena, cumple la relación calidad-precio.Tiene muchas formas de personalización que vale la pena probar una vez instaladas.El control por voz con Alexa permite un uso más cómodo, desde el comando más básico (prender o apagar) hasta unos más personalizables (control del brillo, escena, colores...).⚠️ A considerar: Recomiendo bastante idear en donde las instalarás, seguido por el tomar medidas para que el resultado sea el esperado, ya que en este caso la tira llego completamente unida; de igual modo, el que ya se supiera cómo y dónde se instalarían, hizo el proceso más rápido.Pruébalas antes de instalarlas, desenrollalas y conéctalas, así descartas cualquier posible desperfecto.También toma en cuenta que es necesario el uso de una red WiFi de 2.4 GHz, así como el Bluetooth en tu celular para configurar la aplicación.

Great under-island lighting with lots of options
I installed these light strips underneath my kitchen island and have been really happy with them. I love being able to turn them on and off, change colors, and adjust settings right from my phone — it makes them super convenient to use.They’ve been up for a while now and have stayed adhered well without needing any reinforcement, which was something I was a bit worried about initially.What I really like most is the mood they create. They add just the right amount of extra light and ambiance without being overpowering. I can adjust them to match Christmas lights, switch to a neutral tone, or sync them to music depending on the vibe I want, which has been really fun.Overall, they added that little extra life and brightness I was hoping for, and I’ve been very happy with how they’ve held up so far.Ver másVer menos
