Amazing taste! Quality product!

Not too spicy and loads of flavor!
These are good, like really good! The lime in them gives them a bit of tang, where the chili gives a bit of spice and heat. They are really well named as they really do taste like chili and lime. They aren’t an overly spicy tortilla chip, but it does build. The first one you really don’t notice anything but a lot of flavor, then you notice the heat, along with that flavor. I don’t consider them really hot, in fact for me they are just right. I like to still taste the other food I’m eating and the heat in these doesn’t alter that at all. They have a great crunch and it’s a good thing they come in small bags, because I think I could seriously eat a whole bag of any size in one setting. Yes, they are that good! You receive eighteen 1 oz bags with this listing. Serving size is listed as 1 bag, about 9 chips (my bag had 11). Each bag is 140 calories, 7 grams fat, 3 grams dietary fiber and 3 grams protein. The package I received had an expiration date of December 12, 2026, I received in June 2026.An added bonus to Hippeas snacks, they are non-gmo verified, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan kosher and free from the 9 top allergens. Great for those who have restrictions in their diets or just want to have something they feel a bit better about consuming. The ingredients are as follows: Chickpea Tortilla Chip (Chickpea Flour, Yellow Corn Flour, White Corn Flour, Pea Hull Fiber), Sunflower Oil, Chili Limon Seasoning (Maltodextrin, Salt, Cane Sugar, Onion Powder, Citric Acid, Garlic Powder, Torula Yeast, Yeast Extract, Lime Juice, Spices, Paprika Extract, Natural Flavors, Fruit and Vegetable Juice, Lime Extract, Lime Oil.)Already a big fan of the original Hippeas puffs, I was thrilled to get a chance to try these. They definitely will be added to our snack rotation!Ver másVer menos

I Never Would Have Guessed These Were Made from Chickpeas
I'll admit it...I was skeptical before opening the first bag. Chips made from chickpeas sounded like one of those "healthy alternatives" that sacrifice flavor for nutrition. After one handful, I realized I was completely wrong. What stood out to me most is just how good these taste. If nobody had told me they were made from chickpeas, I honestly wouldn't have guessed. They have a satisfying crunch and are packed with flavor from the very first bite. The Chile Limón seasoning is where these chips really shine. There's a nice balance between the chili and the citrus. You get a little kick of spice followed by that bright, tangy lime flavor that keeps you reaching for another chip. It's bold without being overwhelming and feels like a flavor combination that was done right.I also appreciate that these aren't just tasty snack chips. The added protein and fiber are a nice bonus, making them feel a bit more satisfying than a typical bag of chips. They're great on their own but would also pair well with salsa, guacamole, or your favorite dip.My only complaint is that the bags disappear way too quickly. I kept reaching in for "just one more handful" until I suddenly realized the bag was empty. That's probably the best compliment I can give them. I genuinely hope they make even more flavors because I'd happily try them.Pros:- Fantastic Chile Limón flavor- Great crunch and texture- Nice balance of spice and citrus- Surprisingly delicious considering they're made from chickpeas- Added protein and fiber- Gluten-free and dairy-freeCons:- The individual bags seem to empty much faster than I'd like!Overall:These chips completely exceeded my expectations. They're flavorful, crunchy, satisfying, and don't taste like a compromise at all. The Chile Limón seasoning delivers a perfect combination of zesty lime and gentle heat that keeps you coming back for more. If you're looking for a snack that's a little different without giving up great taste, these are absolutely worth trying. Just be prepared to wish the bag was bigger once you start eating them.Ver másVer menos

Wrong product
Amazon screwed up and sent not only the wrong flavor, but the wrong product! They sent BBQ puffs not Chili Lime Tortillas.Being the good sport that I am, I opened a bag, and they are quite tasty, so Amazon's screw upturned me onto a new snack.

Fantastic
These chips are awesome. They're much healthier than normal chips since they're made from healthy, natural ingredients and don't seem to be deep fried. Based on all the health-related content on the packaging, the manufacturer seems to be prioritizing making a less unhealthy version of chips. Even the color is natural. The fats are lower as well, although at 140 cals per bag, you probably won't be having more than one or two a day anyway. They test something like a dry / non-oily version of Doritos, except the flavor is more... natural. Kind of like if you ground up a garden salad with spicy croutons. It was a bit spicy for my kids, but to someone who likes spicy food, it's not spicy. It has just enough kick to it to remind you that you're eating something. They look appetizing as well. They don't have that classic "it must be healthy because it looks nasty" look. They look like any other generic brand of chip. It makes you wonder why so many big companies put all that money into making unhealthy fake colors when things can look this good without any of that. This is a 10/10 snack in my book.Ver másVer menos

What I got was delicious, but it wasn’t what I ordered…
We lovvveeee us some Hippeas in this house, & I’m sure the Chile Limon are actually a 5 star flavor like most Hippeas chips, BUTTTT I got a box of a completely wrong item. Instead of the tortilla chips, I got puffs. And instead of “Chile Limon” I got “all dressed up”, which admittedly, sounded disgusting to me. Lol I mean, who would think to combine BBQ, Sour Cream & Onion AND salt & vinegar would actually be GOOD?!! But it is good. It’s realllll good! Addictive good. And will now be a staple in the “lunch box” section of our pantry. 😁However, I still need try the Chile Limon to give THEM their proper review. Which would most likely be the same as their “All Dresser Up” flavor… 5 stars!! But I had to deduct one star for the wrong item. As good as it was, it was still a minor disappointment when you’re expecting one thing you’re expecting to love & recieve something else. 🤷🏼‍♀️Ver másVer menos

Sooooooooo good!
We love Hippeas stuff and we LOVE the chile limon tortilla chips! They are full of flavor without being full of spice. You wouldn't know they're made from chickpeas just from eating them, so don't let the ingredient list fool you. Just because they're "healthier" doesn't mean they have to taste bad! They look like Doritos, taste like Doritos but are way better for you than Doritos! Give them a shot before judging them by their chickpeas!Ver másVer menos

Sturdy, tasty chips that can hold bean dip
With this order you get 18 individually packaged servings. That makes it great for portion control, because you don't have to worry about eating more than you intended. Each container has 140 calories, 3 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. I would prefer less calories and more fiber plus protein. But on the other hand, this is much better than typical tortilla chips and great for an occasional treat. There are not a ton of chips in each pack, but what I do like is that the chips are hearty and substantial. In contrast, I've tried some protein chips that are so thin and flaky you can't use them for dip or salsa because they are so light and unsubstantial they will break. The chile limon taste is good. I was a bit worried about that as I've tried some products with that flavor that were too acidic and not balanced. My favorite use for these chips is as a treat with bean dip or hummus. If you add a touch of cheese and an occasional sliced jalapeno you have the perfect snack meal.Ver másVer menos
