Helpful for itchy healing skin, and nicely hydrating
I’ve had good experiences with A+D products before, especially for diaper rash, so I was interested in trying this spray. I cannot speak to how it works for eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea specifically, but I have used it on a healing cut and on a minor burn when both areas started getting itchy as they healed. In both cases, this spray worked well for me. It helped calm the itchiness and also left the skin feeling hydrated, which I really appreciated. Sometimes healing skin can feel tight, dry, or uncomfortable as new skin forms, but I did not get that tight feeling after using this. It felt soothing and helped keep the area more comfortable.Overall, I found this to be a useful product for irritated, healing skin, and I liked that it seemed to moisturize while also calming the itch.Ver másVer menos

Effective and easy to use
I got this product for my spouse to help manage his eczema. It's a small spray bottle with a cap that's easy to use — you just shake and spray the affected area. The expiration date is in two years and the label says the product was made in Mexico. We tested by applying the product to one side of his jawline only, even though both sides had a mild eczema outbreak. The side we didn't treat stayed more or less the same, while the side we did improved — the day after he used this, the irritation was gone. He said it didn't sting or burn, and the gel stayed in place and didn't run. The liquid smells faintly of chlorine, but it's not unpleasant and the scent goes away quickly. When I got this product, it was priced at $7.67, which seems a little expensive. Petroleum jelly — a first-line treatment according to the National Eczema Association — is much cheaper by comparison. However, this gel spray seems effective and harmless, and it wasn't oily, so it's probably worth it. You can also use it for small wounds.Ver másVer menos

Eczema Relief Cream Is a Lifesaver for Nighttime Itch
I am so glad we found this eczema relief cream. My 8 year old keeps it on his nightstand for middle of the night itching from eczema. It works fast to calm the itch and helps him get back to sleep quickly without scratching. The formula feels gentle on his sensitive skin and does not sting at all. We have tried several other creams in the past but this one truly makes a difference. It absorbs nicely without leaving a greasy feeling and the relief lasts for hours. Perfect for both kids and adults dealing with sudden flare ups. We keep one in the bathroom and one by the bed now. Highly recommend this cream to any family struggling with eczema symptoms at night.Ver másVer menos

Soothing. For me (YMMV), doesn't work well on the face. Awkward to spray.
I've been using a plain (single ingredient) hypochlorous acid spray for several years, for issues like rosecea and adult acne flareups and even to prevent infection from cuts and scrapes, with good results. I selected this A+D Advanced Dermatitis Care Hydrogel Spray with Hypochlorous Acid thinking it was simply a thickened version of hypochlorous acid. This A+D spray is thicker, and therefore not runny, so that's good. But despite its prominence in the product label, hypochlorous acid is listed only as one of the two preservatives, near the end of the ingredient list. All I could find about sodium magnesium fluorosilicate, first on the list, was its use as a thickening agent. Also, I was surprised to see dimethicone as one of the ingredients. (My personal research raised concerns about rare allergic reactions and the ingredient possibly causing acne -- the last thing I want!) Based on my confidence in the A+D brand -- they've been around a long time! -- I decided to try it anyway. (Per the product info, it can be used on the face, but out of caution, I closed my eyes while spraying and waited until it was mostly dry to open them.) The bottle doesn't spray upside down, so I found it awkward to spray on my inner thigh area.In addition to my face (I'm currently having a flareup), I used it on an inner thigh irritation that seems to crop up every year when hot weather arrives. To get a fair idea of what the spray alone does, I did nothing in addition except for keeping the areas clean and dry. After 3 days (and YMMV), it didn't seem to work as well for me as plain hypochlorous acid -- plus, my face felt oddly coated after a light application, and the acne flareup seemed to be getting worse, so I stopped using it on my face. The inner thigh irritation lessened a bit, though, and since it seems to coat the skin, the soothing effect lasts at least a few hours. In addition to the coated feeling It was a bit drying to my facial skin, with some flakiness I didn't expect, and I still have a concern about the effects of the dimethicone on my acne. I deducted a star for what I see as misleading about the amount of the ingredient I selected the product for. Another star off because I question how safe it is for the face. And while others with acne might not have the reaction I did, I would tell anyone prone to acne to watch carefully for a negative reaction. Even though it seemed to soothe my thigh issue and did no lasting harm that I can tell to my face, I won't purchase again.A FRIENDLY CAUTION: My experience might not be yours. I encourage anyone considering any product like this to do your research as I did, be aware of the cautions (side effects, interactions) you might find, and speak to your doctor if any of them apply to you. Not every product will work for everyone, so especially at first, stay aware of any changes, good or bad.

Easy to use. No mess.
I got this spray for the occasional eczema flare-up. I also wanted to try it to see if it prevent irritation in the skin folds that appeared after weight loss as well under my breasts. Hypochlorous acid is a natural element found within your body and is safe to use even in your most delicate areas. It is also a great disinfectant.I spray the hydrogel on my skin after cleaning and so far it seems to be helping protect the areas from heat rash and potential fungal infections. I like the spray as it's so easy to apply with getting messy hands or using gloves. It doesn't sting when applied. It does have a slight bleachy smell which rapidly dissipates. It dries quickly and leaves no sticky or gooey residue. This hydrogel has jumped to my top choice for addressing the skin fold issues especially as the weather warms up.Ver másVer menos
