Very comfortable; I really like them, but...
I'm returning them (due to a defect) however, I am replacing them with the same.Never tried this brand before, but I've used water shoes (mainly for aquatic therapy).I wear a size 11 to 11.5 Men's shoe/sneaker. These run large. I tried them on with socks (which I wouldn't be wearing in the pool) and I could fit two fingers by the heel. That's quite big! I do not have a wide foot, but this is more about length.I had one other issue (the main issue I'm returning them) because I think I could get away with them if I could cinch them tight. The left shoe cinched tight and felt good. I don't think it would slip off, but the right one would not lock in place when I tried to tighten it. That shoe would 100% slip off. It has a defective clasp.Other water shoes I've owned weren't as comfortable as these, and they didn't dry quickly. Whether these will or won't I still don't know, but comfort is important, and that's why I'm giving them another shot. I would've gone with a half size (10.5) if that option were available. I'm going to go with the 10 men's. I just hope it's not too tight. I figure, since I'm only going to wear these for an hour in the pool, if they are a little tight... it won't be that big of an issue, but these were so big... I'm hopeful. There are not many reviews. I hope this failed lace lock isn't a quality control issue. The rubber sole grips wet rocks perfectly
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive.* These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order.Why I ordered this item: I do a lot of kayaking and fishing and I'm always getting in and out of the water. My regular sneakers take forever to dry and they get funky after a few trips. I wanted something that would dry fast and not smell terrible.Likes:* These are crazy good for grip on wet rocks and boat ramps. The rubber sole has tons of little nubs that bite into slippery surfaces. I haven't slipped once wearing these.* They dry super fast. I can pull them out of the water and they're basically dry in maybe 20 minutes. The mesh lets air flow through really well.* The toe protection is solid. I've kicked rocks underwater and my toes are fine. There's a thick rubber cap over the front that takes the hit.* Weight is practically nothing. I can stuff these in my tackle box and forget they're there.* Getting them on is zippy with the heel strap. You just slip your foot in and pull the back up.No likes:* The sizing is screwy. I ordered my normal size and they're way too big. I have to cinch the straps tight to keep them from sliding around.* There's basically zero arch support. Its just a flat sole with some padding on top.Would I pay full price for this product: NoFinal thoughts: These work great for water activities but the sizing issue is annoying. Good shoes for rafting or the beach. Comfortably snug.
I wear a women's size 10 W. I ordered these shoes in men's size 8. They fit well. My toes touch the top, but it is not uncomfortable or painful. You don't want them loose or you stand to lose them in the water. They were very easy to put on. I got them to wear when I got WW rafting or to the beach. I tried them on in the pool in my complex. I walked around in the water. They did not come off and didn't slide up and down on my heel while walking or going up the few steps. They were comfortable. The holes on the bottom let the water drain out immediately. They are good quality-excellent tread on the bottom. I would rinse them out after use to help keep them in good shape.Ver másVer menos

Good water shoe for wide feet
My family loves to go to the beach and it is all I can do to keep my boys from getting wet/ going into the water in their clothes and shoes. Water shoes really help to not have to dry their shoes all the time. They also surf and do other water sports so regardless of where we go the water shoes are very handy.These water shoes were really impressive and comparable to ones that I have bought previously on Amazon. They are mostly made of a breathable mesh and have elastic laces with a convenient toggle for easy adjusting. There are vents throughout the shoe so water does not stay trapped and the removable insoles help speed up drying when the shoes are wet.The light mesh material feels solid and seems pretty durable. The sole is thin, but thick enough to protect feet from rocky ocean floor or bumped toes. You definitely still feel the rocks when walking around and I would definitely avoid any sharp or jagged terrain. There is no support in this shoe so it is more of a glorified sock than an actual shoe.Otherwise, these are comfortable to wear and unlike other water shoes there is no chafing when walking in or out of the water. The wide toe box and stretchy mesh make these an excellent choice for anyone with wide feet or bunions so they worked out for our family.Ver másVer menos

Comfortable, but insert slides around
These are really comfortable. I wear them between cold plunges when I'm on my elliptical trainer. The only downside is that the sole insert bunches up and slides around.
