Works great and brought me a sense of peace
This was my first air tag. I bought it for my suitcase. It worked exactly as I expected.The packaging was compact, well protected, and easy to open. The air tag arrived in perfect condition with the battery already installed. Setup with my iPhone took less than a minute. It appeared automatically and connected without any issues. The Find My app made it simple to name the AirTag.The location updates have been accurate. The precision finding feature is especially helpful. The sound is clear enough to hear from another room. The airtag is small, lightweight, and easy to attach to a key ring or slip into a backpack or suitcase. The battery compartment is secure, and the quality is excellent. Everything has worked reliably so far. If you already use Apple devices, this is an easy way to keep track of important items. I’m very happy with it. Good value for the money. AMAZING INVESTMENT! Peace of mind!
I got an AirTag to replace my tile. AirTags don’t have their own GPS, they use nearby iPhones to anonymously report their location to Apple’s Find My network. Since I’m in NYC, there are iPhones everywhere, so my AirTag’s location is updated constantly no matter how far away I am. If you live somewhere more rural or isolated, updates may be less frequent because there are fewer Apple devices nearby to relay its location. But I have had 0 issues with location, and the location has been MORE accurate than my Tile. Setup was SUPER easy, remove the plastic pull tag and hold the AirTag near your phone, your phone will automatically detect it and prompt you to set it up. It’s small and sleek, smaller than the tile for sure. The ease of use if my favorite feature. The reason I replaced the tile is because you can ONLY ring the tile. However if the keys were tucked away somewhere where the speaker was covered, you couldn’t hear the noise. That’s why I love apples find my tracking feature. It will show you exactly how far you are from your keys as well as what direction they are in. It’s even capable of recognizing that the keys may even be on another floor. Overall I’m so happy with this purchase. It works better than any other tracker I’ve used. I want to get another one to keep into my car so I can find where I parked after a night of bar hopping lol.Ver másVer menos

Really useful, especially for traveling
I got the 4-pack mostly for traveling and so far I really like them. They were super easy to set up with my iPhone and I use them for my luggage, backpack, and keys.The Precision Finding works really well when the AirTag is nearby, and the speaker is loud enough that I can actually hear it inside a bag. I also really like being able to check where my luggage is when I’m traveling. It just gives me a little more peace of mind at the airport.They’re small, simple, and pretty much just work without having to mess with anything. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s still no hole for a keyring, so you have to buy a holder if you want to put one on your keys.Overall I’m really happy with them and I think the 4-pack is worth it if you have multiple things you want to keep track of.Ver másVer menos

Doesn’t connect unless your iOS is updated
Cannot connect this to my iPhone SE. had to get it to connect to another phone and it’s not as easy to find the item if I lose it. Good cost and I have 4 of these but this is the first 2nd gen. The other still work great.

They're amazing, buy them NOW.
They're amazing, buy them NOW. That is all.Just kidding, but still it really is that simple, it's classic Apple, they're like magic. On iPhones and Apple Watches with the Ultra Wideband hardware that supports "Precision Finding" (which is most, even going so far back as the iPhone 13) it's like a homing beacon, it tells you how close the item is and in which heading/direction and updates in real time as you move, no fuzzy directions, no "bang-bang" navigation where you're going left then right then left again. When you're about a foot away it dials in with even more precision on the order of inches, and will tell you exactly where the AirTag is as you move your phone closer to the AirTag, no looking in this "general area", we're talking inches. If that's not enough it emits a chime if you tell it to and the sound is loud, much louder in the second generation (50% louder).The setup is so easy a child can do it, you pull a plastic tab (that keeps the battery disconnected), the battery connects, the circuit completes, it emits a small chime and you hold it near your iPhone and it starts pairing within a second. It's part of the "Find My" network so it's super simple to track all of your AirTags in one app.This is one of those things you've always wanted, where after actually getting them and using them you realize two things:1) Why didn't you get them earlier?2) You don't have enough of them, you want more.Battery replacement is easy, you push on the stainless steel cover and rotate it left (lefty loosey-righty tighty). The battery is held in place by magnets (classic Apple) so you don't fumble it and accidentally drop the battery. It's a CR2032 which you can buy a pack of four for $5, they last about a year (assuming you're not constantly playing sounds through them and doing precision finding).Ver másVer menos

Easy to setup. Helps locate lost or misplaced items. Great for travel, or if you misplace things.
I bought the 4-pack for an upcoming trip. I also occasionally misplace my keys, so this will reduce frustration and time spent searching for them. They’re pricey, but that’s typical for all Apple products, and I’ve found them to be worth it. The packaging is outstanding, protects them from damage, and it’s easy to open. Setup was quick and simple. Have your iPhone nearby. Just pull the tab holding the paper covering on each airtag, and your phone will prompt you. There are categories already set up so you can label each one, i.e., keys, luggage, backpack, etc. as you activate it, and it automatically ties it to your location. There’s an option to turn off notifications for when each airtag is located at your home address. Although not required, I highly recommend purchasing AirTag holders. The AirTags are by design small and portable, and they’re also round and slick, so it’s easy to lose them if they’re not physically connected to whatever you’re trying to protect and locate if lost or misplaced. A set of 4 of the silicone ones popped up for purchase when I put the 4 pack of AirTags in my shopping cart. They help protect the AirTag, but most importantly, they allow you to securely connect the AirTag to your keys, luggage, or whatever. The ones I bought are in 4 different colors, so it’s easy for me to identify which one is which. I just got the AirTags, so I can’t say yet how reliable or accurate they are, but I’ll update this review if there are any issues.Ver másVer menos

Perfect for Keeping Track of My Dogs
I purchased the 4-pack of Apple AirTags specifically for my dogs, and they've given me so much peace of mind. They were incredibly easy to set up, connected to my iPhone within minutes, and work seamlessly with the Find My app.The tracking is accurate and reliable, making it easy to quickly locate my dogs if they wander around the yard or when we're out and about. The compact size is perfect for attaching to their collars, and they don't seem to notice they're wearing them.The battery life is excellent, and I appreciate the precision finding feature when one of the tags ends up tucked under a blanket or in another room.
