Awesome speaker but connect to the app for additional features like a white noise machine!
Anker always makes solid speakers and battery products. I love the fact you can use this as power backup as well for your cell phone and the double latch types is a fantastic feature. One thing I didnt realize was how sturdy the clip is when you switch between the latch types. It really clips in between the different styles and I thought that was a very well designed add on.Another feature I noticed is that when you connect it to the app, you get an entire bank of white noise sounds that you can customize. I think other Anker products that connect to the app can utilize the same options but for this size its perfect to have at your nightstand for a white noise device. This has been one of the most innovative speakers ive used in a while. The price is reasonable and the sound quality is fantastic.Ive also used this in the shower as a speaker and no issues with getting wet. This spring ill plan on taking it with me camping and kayaking.Ver másVer menos

Best pocket speaker I’ve ever had
Best personal pocket speaker I’ve owned! Battery life for playing music is very efficient . I played it on full volume for 3ish hours for 3 days in a row without charging and it was still at 80 percent battery. Charging the phone takes the battery down quick , but it’s so efficient at playing music you don’t have to worry if your phone needs a charge and you were playing music all day. Sound quality is slightly better than the soundcore selection 4 mini Go, but that is also a good option for a cheap portable speaker. The rubber strap on the back is super handy and well engineered. Bought a lot of soundcore products over the past few years and this one is my favorite. Thanks Anker 😁Ver másVer menos

Small, convenient, plenty of volume
This little guy puts out way more sound than I expected. The base response is decent for a small speaker. I was replacing another small Bluetooth speaker that wasn't loud enough for my group setting. I planned to buy two and connect them, but ended up only needing one because it's plenty of sound.I use it to play background music for a small choir of about a dozen seniors. This plays music loud enough that they can all hear and sing together.Ver másVer menos

Go 3i soundcore speaker
Go 3i soundcore, is great. For a small speaker. The soundcore app, you can detail your sound preferences. Or the presets are great too. It is very light, and bluetooth stayed connected to about 150-200', no issues. Battery, igot about 7hrs with volume around 60% w/no bass. The party light feature is pretty cool. You can change the colors, set to beat with the multi function button. Or jus have it dim to low.. charges pretty quick, from 40% to 85% in about 30min. And if needed you can use it as a battery bank to recharge your electronic or top off.. A great purchase.Ver másVer menos

Impressive sound
Can't beat the sound for such a small form factor. The rubber strap holds it tight to my bike. Awesome speaker.

Not the best sounding, may need tinkering with EQ. Not for audiophiles
Hefty little speaker with gimmicky sound signature or of the box. Balanced EQ profile does not really fix the problem with the sound quality. I did do the firmware update on it, also tried the Custom EQ as well as the more fine tune Full EQ.... Too much tinkering to try and get audio to play not even choose to half decent sound out of this speaker. It may be ok for Radio quality Lo-Fi music but do not expect it to sound great. Really depends on your needs. I need a portable worker that sounds great out of the box not a hobby speaker to tinker with to pass the time... I wanted to like it but the sound just distracts from enjoying the music... Not for me. Returning. The app does not require creating an account but seems pushy to try and get user data... So even if I had gotten a successful custom EQ preset I would have uninstalled it to prevent it from collecting data. I do have Sound Core Headphones and a larger SC portable speaker that sound better, so they can make great sounding speakers, just not this one for some reason. For reference I prefer the sound of Google Home Max speakers, Bose headphones, Nothing Headphones 2(?) the latest over ear ones. This Speaker may be ok for background music while doing chores or at a busy event where sound quality is not a priority.Ver másVer menos

Clear, loud sound, especially in the bass.
I highly recommend this product because the sound quality is very clear and loud. The price is very low compared to other, more well-known brands.

sounds like a much bigger speaker
While it may look that way, this is not a speaker that fits in your pocket. It is also too heavy to do that. There are other smaller speakers out there if you need that. But given those limitations, it replaces a much larger speaker and produces a voluminous sound. It comes with a detailed equalizer but sounds out of the box good with Bass Up switched on. I used it mostly for radio and podcasts and as such it sounds better and louder than my already big portable radio. It is made to lay on its back or to be strapped to a bar like a handlebar of a bicycle. At first I regretted that it cant be used in an upright position without using a extra stand, but the speaker sounds good laying on its back. I would certainly consider this as a quality product with superior design and construction. I certainly hope that Soundcore releases the extra color which is shown on their US website.

Amazing sound, but the color is beige
The sound is amazing—I really like it. But the color isn't white; it's more like beige.Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Absolutely class.
Stop doing your research and just buy it.I’ve gone from a Sonos Roam to this Soundcore Boom Go 3i, and I’m blown away by it. It’s honestly brilliant. The Sonos was over £100 about 3 years ago and I always loved the sound but then found the battery just died on me (Sonos are sorting a replacement to be fair). Anyhow I thought I’d get a budget replacement and researched far too much and then shortlisted this Soundcore and the JBL Go5. Both currently at the £40 price point.I choose the soundcore because I have some other Anker products so know they’re good, and also for the better sound I assume coz 15w not 5w, and the handy rubber strap to attach it to things easily. Now I haven’t heard the sound from the JBL but what I can say is this soundcore doesn’t disappoint. It came out the box showing 48% charged. I couldn’t connect with Bluetooth but then realised that you have to download the Soundcore Anker app firstly. Once I’d down that it connected right away and has down ever since as soon as I turn the speaker on, no need for the Anker app-you only need to open that to tweak things like the EQ and the lights. A nice feature in the app is the sounds for meditation, productivity time and what not.Crucially though, the sound quality is excellent for such a small speaker and the volume is plenty enough. It’s great for in the bathroom, in your office, bedroom, kitchen or garden. We might get another just for the bathroom, even the wife was impressed. And I want to try a pair in stereo too. I chuck it in my rucksack and take it with me on my travels and it’s great for hotel rooms or sat somewhere peaceful and you want some tunes on.So it’s a Yes from me; an excellent product and £40 well spent.Ver másVer menos
