  Handy to keep a couple around for patching cables together.

  Excellent connectors. Used them to patch some cables together until I could get the rght length. Still have some patched with these and still working fine. Came in handy when I needed to do testing. Not losing any bandwidth, ;atency or connectivity with them.

  Don't you hate it when you measure what you thought was exactly and were wrong, which you found out after routing the cable over across and through somewhere there that you don't want to go back through?This is a solution. They look well made, although if you push just that much more the innards will slide out of the shell, but it easily push back in. So far, I have had no indication of connectivity issues where I have had to use them, and devices are able to reach expect data speeds. Attached is a pix of a speed test run on this laptop, connected via WiFi, through a Ubiquiti AC AP, whose cable(s) runs through one of these connectors.Well, I have already mis-measured again, and have bought another pack.Ver másVer menos

  Solid, Reliable, Speed (Partially) Tested 👍

  Solid. No issues at all. Another good Jadaol ethernet product (I almost exclusively use their CAT6 / CAT7 flat Ethernet cables. Never any trouble that I can recall).I did a speed test using this between two cables, which were plugged into a USB C multi-dock, which was plugged into my Windows 11 PC. Unfortunately the dock (not a Jadaol product) is capping out at 100Mbps, not the 1Gbps it advertised.So I can’t check the full speed throughput of these coupling adapters, but I can confirm they sent the expected speed without any issue that I can see. Tested speeds hit consistent ~92Mbps down/up (the real-world expected throughput on a 100Mbps Ethernet port).I can’t wait to get a real 1Gbps USB C to Ethernet adapter so I can really test the full speed of these couplers (I have 1Gig fiber, so I do actually get 850-950Mbps when wired to primary router).I assume they *do* actually get up to 1Gbps throughout, as one of the reviewers posted a picture of something around 450/250 speed test while using these (I’m assuming that’s the full speed they get from their ISP).Thanks again, Jadaol!   A bit expensive, but works

  No problem so far, they seem to work well. However, I also had some leftover keystones that work equally as well and we’re about half the price.

  For newer high-speed cables you need newer joiners

  I have slowly been upgrading my switches and cabling, but have a few points where I was using older cable joiners and although they do seem to work, they must be introducing errors or other mismatches as replacing with these definitely provided an instant improvement in throughput and reliability. So although I figured 'they are just short straight-through connectors, what does it matter? Turns out it does - and if you want to get 10G speeds reliably and stability when connecting two Cat7 (or better) cables, then you really do need better quality joiners - like these. Good solid well made couplers that must be up to spec as I at least saw the benefit of swapping out. Compact, snug fit, - they even look good! Recommended.Ver másVer menos
