Perfect for organization
I purchased this for my adult daughter for her birthday and she loves it. She is a teacher and very organized. She set it up to manage hers and her family/household schedules and chores. My grandkids love it as they can check off their chores on the touch screen with all the fun graphics and earn rewards. The calendar is also aesthetically pleasing especially with the wooden frame. It blends nicely on her counter with her decor. The screen is easy to see and read the information. It also seems to be sturdy and of good quality. My daughter has told me multiple times that she loves it. Well worth the price in my opinion.Ver másVer menos

Scheduling is key
Love the device perfect for all the schedules I need, great task setting helped greatly with my cats medication, and Paris perfectly with my iPhone calendar, the task you have tos eat up on the skylight but, I love it it’s expensive but well worth it if you have chores and task and scheduling to maintain, I also love the To do list and grocery list areas, easy to use deviceVer másVer menos

2023 I love it - 2026 update
I’m really a paper pencil person, and I have a year wall calendar which I love and still use, but it’s quite cluttered with all our family schedules. The problem is that when I’m out and about scheduling/cancelling appointments I only add it to my phone calendar and forget to add it to the paper calendar. It’s also not easy to find the appointments again later on my phone. This calendar syncs easily with many different calendar apps. It is very straight forward to set up, use, read, and it lets you know what’s going on that day, the next few days or month. Some say it’s a basic calendar that’s not worth the money but it’s perfect for my family. I don’t have to answer the dreaded question of what do we have to do today. Everyone’s schedules are color coded to match my original calendar app. The only complaint I have is that you can’t add to the calendar console directly because it won’t sync back to my phone calendar app. That still ok though because I don't want anyone else changing things without my knowledge anyway. I’m not positive it’s worth it for everyone but it’s definitely worth it for me.Update: 2026 It's been nearly three years since I purchased this product, and I still use it daily. It only just recently started to have problems with the screen, and I worried that I wouldn't be able to do anything about it, first because I purchased it through amazon, and secondly because it's nearly three years old. I was still hopeful, so I contacted customer support. They were quick to respond walked me though trying to fix the product on my own. I really appreciated their wonderful customer service, so I changed my review from 4 to 5 starts. I figured it was time for a new calendar anyway, and was thinking about switching to another brand, but the customer service alone is worth staying with this brand. Skylight is touted as the easiest to setup and use, and I also don't want to have a device with ads or extra busy screens. You can add or remove information currently showing on the screen, and I want my family to see only what is important. I didn't mention in my original review that I also easily sync to other calendars, like the kids' sports, school and everything else. Just so you're aware there's a little bit of a learning curve if you don't already know how to do these things, but I think most people nowadays do. Since I purchased my original skylight there have also been several improvements to the base model without the subscription. I don't subscribe to plus and I still highly recommend it.Ver másVer menos

Absolutely Love My Skylight Calendar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely love my Skylight Calendar! It has been such a great addition to our home and makes keeping up with our family’s busy schedules so much easier. I love being able to see everyone’s activities, appointments, and important dates all in one place. The touchscreen is beautiful, easy to navigate, and very user-friendly. It’s also a great way to keep the whole family organized! I wish I had purchased one sooner. Definitely worth it, and I highly recommend it to any busy family!Ver másVer menos

It Says it Right on the Box: "Goodbye Stress!" 💯
Wow - Our Family is 2 days in and the Skylight Calander has already impacted our schedule. From chores, to grocery lists, to its main use as a calender, it has done a fantastic job for us as a family of 6.For all my tech people out there:1. The System UI and layout are a 10/10. Rock solid stability and easy to understand navigation.2. Seamless multi-calender syncing across 4 people. I have 2 users using outlook email, and 2 using the Skylight app, and the calender instantly syncs new events and updates under 10 seconds with a good connection. So happy for this product!! I have seen some other off-brand ones, and trust me, IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY A CALANDER LIKE THIS BUY IT FROM SKYLIGHT. The rest run off a modified Android based OS that is harder to understand and less stable. Please buy from Skylight. In the long run the extra $10-100 bucks IS WORTH IT!!!Are you busy, stressed, dont know where some people went during the day? BUY this thing!Ver másVer menos

Changed my life and improved my marriage
I absolutely love this product! To say it has changed my life is not an understatement. My husband and I have finally found a system that works for both of us to organize our schedules, and now the tension over missed plans and expectations has nearly vanished. Plus, we all love the routines and chores feature. My kids feel empowered to take ownership of their day because they know the routines and enjoy seeing the progress they make towards their goals. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would because it had seriously been such a game-changer for my family. And its design is very unobtrusive, so it doesn't feel like a clunky eyesore. I can do all the things I want without the subscription, so I can't speak on that aspect. My only regret is that I waited so long to invest in a Skylight. Totally worth the money!Ver másVer menos

Great Family Calendar Hub With Some Quirks
My wife pushed me to purchase this Skylight Calendar as we head into the new school year. Our kids are finally at an age that they want to know all the things. What do we have going on during the day, what are we eating, and what chores should they be doing. Well a few weeks in, I can say this is a game changer with a few caveats.Integrating calendars could not be easier. We are an Apple household and it was very easy to make our calendars public to get a shareable link and add those into the Skylight companion app. Within minutes we had the calendar reflecting all our shared, personal, and sports calendars. I think we may have 5 - 6 syncing without issue. Skylight also offers a holiday calendar that we enabled.Profiles allow you to easily create task lists for your kids. Both of our kids have repeating daily tasks, think empty the dishwasher or shower, that were easy to create. They also have weekly chores, like pulling weeds, that we setup. While viewing the calendar, you can enable a view to show how many tasks they have for the day and how many they have completed. As they complete these, they can easily mark them off.As they complete tasks, if you pay for the subscription, you can assign star values so they can claim rewards. We have setup a few rewards for them, but still playing with the value of rewards to number of tasks they are doing. We are also using this as a digital picture frame, which you must also pay for through the subscription. They say the photo storage is unlimited. I think your cloud storage is unlimited, but the device has to have a cap. Currently have maybe 300 photos synced to. After 5 minutes of no one using it, it begins to go through them. One complaint I have, is even though I’ve synced 300 photos, I tend to see the same ones a lot. I don’t have any proof, but think the device may refresh the photos it has in its storage, but not hold them all which is why. From a form factor standpoint, this is a well built device. It feels very solid and has a pretty crisp screen. It includes a stand or wall mounting parts. I have no fear of my kids damaging this device, hopefully.Overall I think this is a great device for keeping a family who has kids without their own phones/devices on track with what’s going on, on task with chores, and display family photos. However, a few complaints:1. A subscription to unlock rewards, meal planning, using it as a digital picture frame is kinda crazy for the cost of the device.2. While there is a sleep mode to turn the display off at night. It’s on all the time. Feel like they should have included a sensor to detect motion to save energy.3. While ours has been on and connected for a few weeks, I know there is an update out there that includes weather that we have not gotten yet and there is no way to force a software update. So kind of at the mercy of when updates come out.Overall a great little device, with some quirks.

I don't know how I managed without it!
I manage three different calendars, and the Skylight Calendar has honestly been a game changer for keeping everything organized. Instead of constantly checking different places to figure out what I have coming up, I can see everything together in one place. The large touchscreen makes it easy to glance at my schedule, and having everything displayed clearly helps me stay on top of appointments, meetings, and other commitments. If you’re trying to manage multiple schedules and feel like you’re always checking one calendar or another, this makes life so much easier. I use it all the time and am very happy I bought it.Ver másVer menos

Life changing
Cannot recommend this product enough. I originally was searching for a digital calendar because I never remembered to update our paper ones. I figured if I kept buying and not using paper calendars I might as well save that money and purchase this. I do not regret my decision! We have mounted it on the wall above the “drop zone” so everyone can see and use it as they get ready for the day.Favourite features:* the calendar - really easy to use, synchs with iPhone calendar so always up to date, colour coded for each person, variation in display options so easy to find a view that works for you.* task list - works great for kids and adults, helps create a feeling of working together to look after the home, great for my SEND child who needs reminders to do everyday tasks.* lists - we use the lists for groceries, to-do list and to meal plan.* we are not signed up to the monthly subscription and have had no issues without it. Definitely can see the appeal though.* update regularly with new features eg. Countdown function and “up for grabs” task list (tasks for anyone at any time, not assigned to an individual or a specific timing)The Skylight has been a life changer for our neurodiverse household. 5*Ver másVer menos
