Works well. Does the job for a good price.
This has been excellent for my home projects. It is not too sticky and provides excellent lubrication and protection for outdoor electronics. Great price too in comparison to some named-brands. Would buy again.

Very versatile.
I don’t often have a need for this type of lubricant around the house and usually when I have to replace a o-ring or seal in a faucet, I end up grabbing Vaseline to lubricate the seals with as that was all I had to work with. This tube of lube will likely last the rest of my lifetime but at least I now have proper lube for the job. With this being Silicone and capable of withstanding higher temperatures, I wouldn’t be afraid to use it for automotive systems such as injector seals, A/C, power steering, and transmission lines with o-ring seals.Seems very versatile and well worth the investment for the many uses it has.Ver másVer menos

works but not as thick as some others
I have used this successfully to lube the internals of the E61 brew lever group. Food safe silicon grease tends to be very expensive and you usually only require a small amount. This fits the bill and is more economic than some other brands. It worked well but is a bit less thick (less viscous ) than other brands I have used. Can be advantageous but in high heat applications (such as espresso machines, it tends to be more of a liability. Also the plastic lid that comes with it immediately broke off when first opening it :(Ver másVer menos

Excellent Product to Keep on Hand
At times I have purchased a new plumbing fixture that included a tiny vial of silicone grease, and have thought that it is great stuff. But there have been many other times that I could have used some for a plumbing repair or other use, and have not had any on hand. So I was happy to be offered this Multi-Purpose Silicone Grease in a nice sized tube.I really like the fact that this product is water and food safe. That truly makes it multi-purpose for plumbing, refrigerators, and many miscellaneous needs. And the temperature range from, -40°F to 400°F, means no worries for just about any application. The tube cap itself shows thoughtful design, making it easy to dispense the small amounts that are usually needed. It happens that I had an immediate use for this grease. I had purchased one of those ‘car safety hammers and seat belt cutters,’ and while the product was very nice, the protective end caps were so tight to get off that one might not figure it out in an emergency situation. I used a tiny dab of this grease applied to the o-ring seals, and now the caps are very easy to remove. Problem solved! The 1.76 oz size of this tube will probably be a lifetime supply for me. I am delighted to have this on hand in my DIY-er’s workshop!Ver másVer menos
