Fun Downtown Tire Shop
This Hot Wheels City Downtown Tire Shop playset has been a fun, compact addition to our Hot Wheels town, especially for kids who enjoy imaginative, hands on car play and connecting multiple sets together. The footprint is small but packed with playful details, with sturdy plastic that feels solid enough for typical kid use and assembly that only takes a few minutes. The big tire element on top can unfold or rotate to send cars in different directions, and the garage or lift area adds a “service shop” feel so kids can pretend their cars are coming in for new tires or repairs. My kids love running different cars through the multi directional track and inventing little stories about what is happening at the tire shop.Where it really shines is when it is hooked into a larger Hot Wheels layout. The connectors make it easy to join with other tracks and city themed sets, so it becomes a dedicated tire shop corner in a bigger town rather than a full track all on its own. It comes with a car in the box, which makes it an easy gift because kids can start playing right away. There are a few tradeoffs, though. As a track, it is more about routing and pretend play than high speed launches, and there is no big launcher, so kids who mainly want stunts might find it less exciting than some action heavy sets. The unfolding tire feature can be a bit confusing the first time for younger kids, since it functions more as a decorative secondary track than the main run. A few pieces feel slightly lighter than some older sets, but in day to day use it has held up well for typical toddler and kid play. A Fun Hot Wheels Gift
We chose this Hot Wheels City Downtown Tire Shop as a gift for our neighbor’s son. It is a cool set with a tire shop theme and several ways for a child to create different driving adventures.The large tire twists in different directions and converts into a ramp for launching cars. The movable service hose, lift, and included tow truck add more ways to play and create stories around the shop.Overall, this is a fun and well-designed gift for a child who enjoys Hot Wheels. Fun and creative but a little off in design.
We are a Hot Wheels loving home and our sons enjoy adding additions to their Hot Wheels collection for sure. This set was simple for my 8 and 11 year old to assemble. It is a fun looking set but a star off for quality/playability. While it was simple to assemble and the car that is included is great for a stand alone gift, the purpose of the ser up, as far as launching a car, isn't quite as it seems in the graphics.Great price point, part of a new collection to complete if you collect or are building your town, but a little more for looks than function.Ver másVer menos

Great track expansion, not so much a standalone toy
This is another fun piece from Hot Wheels, but it is important to know that it is not really a standalone toy. Instead, it works best as an addition or expansion pack if you already have Hot Wheels tracks at home. It features "Speed Snap" connectors, making it easy to build right into your existing layout.For around $14, it is a perfectly okay value for what you get. It even comes with an extra 1:64 scale die-cast tow truck to match the tire shop theme. The set itself has some neat interactive features, like a kid-powered lift and a tire shop that twists 360 degrees to transform into a ramp that sends cars speeding into action.Because it is on the smaller side and needs other tracks to be fully enjoyed, I probably wouldn’t buy this as a primary standalone birthday gift. A fun, small set for Hot Wheels!
This is such a fun, small Hot Wheels set for kids. My son is obsessed with the tire shop playset. I love that it is compatible with other sets and can be connected for extra play. The set is made out of a durable plastic that appears to be able to withstand typical tiny hands playing with it. Assembly was easy and we had it up and ready to play in under 5 minutes. I love that it includes a bonus car as well so you can use this as a standalone item and not need to buy cars for it. This would make a great gift for just about any car loving kid!Ver másVer menos

Cute Smaller hotwheels track
My son is just now getting in to hotwheels, and we are loving it! This car shop track fits perfectly in his hotweel track town we built! The connectors allow it to fit perfectly to the other race track and adds a cute addition.The tire on top unfolds and the race car races down it.There is not too much to this specific track, but for the price, it is definitely worth it!I love that it comes with another car and that it can attach to our other tracks.Overall I think this car track is a perfect addition to hotwheels loving kids. The Hot Wheels City Tire Shop is a great add-on to any Hot Wheels Toy Car Track Set. We have a few others, and my boys always love when additional parts change up the track - this one in particular with a lift and a ramp.
