Great way to introduce matching
This ended up being a really fun little toy set for my niece who’s 3. She actually likes playing with it and even “teaching” her 1 year old sister how to use it, even though the younger one mostly just watches and tries to grab things at this point. Right away, both of them were more interested in opening and closing the egg shells than anything else, which was kind of funny to see. That part alone keeps them busy for a while. As for the actual stacking and placing the dinosaurs on the track, that’s definitely more of a long term learning activity. It’s not something they fully figured out immediately, but it’s good for introducing sorting, color matching, and just getting familiar with patterns and placement. The dinosaur pieces are also a good size, which I really appreciate. Nothing feels tiny or risky, so I’m not worried about accidental swallowing with either of them, especially with the younger one around. It’s one of those toys that mixes play with learning, even if the “learning” part comes slowly and more through repetition over time.Ver másVer menos

Train cars keep detaching, but animals are cute
The set includes numbered eggs with different dinosaurs inside, plus colorful wagon cars and a locomotive. The animals are cute and work as finger puppets. The colors and numbers on the eggs are bright and engaging for little ones. The number dots are a little bit small.The eggs open easily and each dinosaur fits inside its corresponding numbered egg. My kiddo enjoys the different colored dinosaurs.The train cars keep detaching from each other though. Pushing or pulling slightly with the string doesn't work - they disconnect constantly. Adorable!! My 2.5 year old loves it.
This little train set is perfect for my 2.5 year old who is obsessed with both trains and dinosaurs. The corresponding shapes numbers and colors are great for learning sorting counting, etc. so it’s perfect for playing, but also learning.! it has a lot of pieces and it’s even fun for my one year-old too open up the eggs and play with the dinosaurs has lots of different uses. I think it’s a pretty good value for your money and would make a great gift for someone’s child’s birthday or daycare. It’s really easy to assemble, but my only qualm is with the video I attached. It frustrates my toddler a lot when he’s playing with the train and makes any turns that aren’t just going straight because the train cars detach really easily, which is kind of annoying and he constantly asked me to put them back. I just wish they didn’t come apart that easily but other than that, it’s really nice quality and it’s super cute that you can put your fingers in the dinosaurs and play finger puppets with them too! Cheap Plastic Train
Box arrived a bit bashed and dirty. Checked inside and the quality plastic of the train is awful, really cheap and lightweight. The eggs and dinosaurs seems better. Really disappointed as it was a gift, but not good enough to give.
