It's a great temporary fix
I don't know what to say except it does effectively puff up the area you put it on. Since I turned 43, I've noticed the area below my eyes looks a little different. Darker, the texture looks different, and a little hollow. I was born with a decent amount of volume in my upper lip and it's something I've always liked about my face. That has looked less pronounced now that I'm in my mid-40s, as well. This product does make both my under eyes and lips look much more bouncy and plump. I've noticed it also fills out a little line that's like a crevice on the edge of my lip that's appeared in the last few years. It's a subtle difference; you look rested and well hydrated. When I look in the mirror, I can definitely see a difference although I don't think people such as my coworkers would think anything other than I look like I slept well and generally look healthy. For what you pay for a bottle of this product, how long it lasts, and how well it works, I feel it's great value for the money. You do need to continuously use it every day to have it be effective, however, it's really easy to use. One large drop near the inner corner of each eye (the tear tough area), swept under the eye and onto the temples, a drop for each line on the side of the nose down towards the mouth, and one drop for the lips. It added less than a minute to my skincare. You do need to lightly rub the oil in a bit, otherwise you'll look like you have an oil slick in those areas. For the first 10-15 minutes, there is a tingling in any area you put it on and you might feel some slight pressure as the skin plumps. Depending on how sensitive you are, that could be a deal breaker. If you're prone to rosacea, this product might not be for you. You can start with a tiny amount and see how it effects your skin. I feel the tingling and pressure the most on my lips, but it's never been more than slightly uncomfortable and it only made my skin slightly red the first time I used it. I would say be careful with application around your eye because getting it too close to your waterline (where your lashes are to the inside of your eyelids) can burn. I did this on accident once when I put the product too close to the inner corner of my eye when someone bumped my arm. It did lightly sting for a few minutes and I had to take out my contact, but the sting wasn't horrible and only lasted a few minutes. My eye doctor said it isn't a big deal if it happens only once in a while and to rinse my eye in body temperature water if it happens again.I don't wear makeup because of sensory issues and this stuff helps me feel more confident. If you are someone who likes to wear makeup, I'd think this stuff would help your makeup go on smoother and not settle into crevices as much. It really helps those little patches of texture under the eyes smooth out and that lip line disappear, which I'd imagine would make makeup look nicer.Ver másVer menos
