My Dog LOVES the food!
I’m a Proplan fan! After my Great Dane developed DCM from feeding him expensive boutique grain free dog food for just one year! I went back to ProPlan! The doctors at University of Illinois told me to put him back on (a healthier dog food/with years of research behind its name) for me that’s Pro Plan! Unfortunately, he had to take medication andsupplements because of mine foolishness, but with him back on a healthier diet, Tozz’s lived to be the ripe old age of 10!I’m a Proplan Fan! Now our 4 year old 100lb Chessie(He’s taller than the average Chesapeake Bay retriever-28inchs) this is our 4 Chessies. Jude Love’s the stuff-although I think I’m going to purchase the smaller(medium size dogs)kibble next time, because the food pellets are Huge for the large breed dogsVer másVer menos

Dog approved, fewer digestive issues
We’ve used Purina (Bright Minds) with our pups for several years and noticed one of our dogs was having an issue with looser stools (ie messier to pickup). At our vets suggestion, we add the digestive health dry food to his routine and saw an improvement within a week. We are doing a 50/50 blend of the two products. The price is inline with their other products, both dogs seem to enjoy the taste and they’ve had no issues with digestion. Overall the ingredients seem healthy and again, for our younger dog it’s made it easier to up after him on walks.Ver másVer menos

Great food for my dog!
We are existing Pro Plan customers, which gives this review useful context: this is not a first time dog food evaluation but a comparison against a known baseline our Golden Retriever already accepts and enjoys. That matters because dogs with established food preferences do not always transition willingly to new flavors, making acceptance a real test rather than an assumed outcome.She took to this new flavor immediately and finished her bowl completely on the first serving, which for a dog with an established food routine is a meaningful positive signal. The transition required no mixing or gradual introduction, which is worth noting for owners who typically have to blend new foods slowly to avoid digestive upset or flat out refusal.The aroma is strong and distinctly fishy, which I suspect is exactly why she responded so enthusiastically. Dogs are primarily scent driven eaters and a strong protein forward smell is a reliable appetite trigger, particularly for fish based formulas. If you are sensitive to pet food smells in your home, this one is noticeable and worth knowing in advance.The price point sits above comparable options in the category, which is the honest tradeoff to acknowledge. Pro Plan generally commands a premium across its line based on its nutritional profile and ingredient quality, and this flavor is consistent with that positioning. Whether the premium is justified depends on your dog's specific needs and whether the fish based protein source offers a nutritional advantage for your pet over their current food.The one thing I cannot yet speak to is digestive tolerance through sustained feeding, which is the most important long term measure for any dog food transition. Our dog loves it
We were happy to be able to try this dog food since we tend to stay with what we have been using for a while. We normally would not have picked a new one in the store. Our dog really seem to love this one and did not have as many issues with throwing up as she has had with some others. It's a pretty big bag so it has lasted us a while. We will continue buying it a few more times to see how much digestive support it truly offers our dog, but it seems to be pretty gentle and working well so far.Ver másVer menos

Very happy I switched!
My dog adores it and I can definitely tell that his digestion has improved. This is our new go-to for sure.
