My face is so soft! Worth it.
I love this set! My skin has never been softer. For the price you can't beat it. I have sensitive 50 year-old skin and haven't had any breakouts. I've tried so many different brands due to my sensitivity and this one better than my expensive brands.

exceptional budget kit
The kit includes five skincare products: cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, and finishing cream. At a retail price under $20, the cost per item is extremely low, so expectations should be grounded in that reality. Within that context the set performs quite well and feels thoughtfully put together.The cleanser is opaque white and only a very small amount is needed when combined with water. It creates a dense lather with relatively small bubbles rather than a huge foam. It rinses with moderate effort and leaves the skin feeling smooth rather than squeaky clean. There is a light fragrance present but it is thin and mostly disappears during rinsing.The toner is very fluid but not completely watery and it is not perfectly clear either. It absorbs easily while leaving a slight hydrated presence on the skin. I did not detect any noticeable scent.The serum has a milky, almost frothy appearance and spreads very easily across the skin with a wet feel. It absorbs quickly and cleanly. The bottle is only 17 ml, which looks small compared with the rest of the set, but if used sparingly it can reasonably last alongside the other products for about a month of regular daily use.The eye cream uses a triple roller ball applicator which feels very nice. The product itself behaves like a gel cream with a somewhat rich texture. It massages into the skin easily and leaves a comfortable layer behind. The quantity here is generous and the tube will almost certainly outlast the rest of the kit.The finishing cream is a loose opaque cream that shares some of the richness of the eye cream but spreads more freely. It absorbs partially and leaves a light moisturizing layer that settles down after a few minutes.From a formulation perspective these are simple hydration focused products built around common cosmetic ingredients such as glycerin, glycols, silicones, and emollients. The marketing language highlights ingredients like vitamin C, collagen peptides, ferulic acid, hyaluronic acid, and glutathione. In reality this is more of a gentle moisturizing routine than a high powered treatment system, which is completely reasonable at this price.One thing the set does very well is overall coherence. The textures progress logically from cleanser to toner to serum to cream and everything works together as a routine. The kit even includes a small furry hairband with ears meant to hold hair back while applying the products. It is a fun extra and fits the playful gift oriented presentation of the set.Overall this is a very inexpensive but well coordinated starter skincare kit. The formulas are simple, the routine works smoothly, and nothing in the set feels harsh. For someone looking for an entry level skincare routine or a lightweight travel set, it offers solid value.

Inexpensive kit for all ages
This 5 in 1 Skin Care Set by Laikou is a great option for a gift. It would especially be great for a young girl getting into skincare. Each of the items are gentle and simple. The only unfortunate thing is the high concentration of mineral oil in both the moisturizer and serum. This cheap ingredient is highly occlusive and has shown to trap dirt with use of these products. This has lead to an increase in white heads, but perhaps I am not cleansing in the best way. The toner and cleanser however are great. They are not stripping and my skin looks more hydrated. The headband is very well constructed and comfortable to wear as well.Ver másVer menos
