Excellent Thermal Paste With Strong Performance at a Great Price
ARCTIC has been making reliable thermal compounds for a long time, and MX-7 continues that tradition. I've had excellent results with it so far. Temperatures have been exactly where I would expect from a high-performance thermal paste, and it offers that performance at a very reasonable price.MX-7 is noticeably thick and viscous, which is intentional. Unlike thinner pastes that you might manually spread across the CPU, this one is designed to distribute under the mounting pressure of the cooler. Once the heatsink or water block is tightened down properly, the paste forms a thin, even layer between the two surfaces. Application is straightforward once you understand that it isn't meant to be spread manually.I also appreciate that MX-7 is electrically non-conductive and non-capacitive. That makes it a good choice not only for CPUs, but also for GPUs, laptops, consoles, and other electronics where accidentally getting a little paste outside the intended area shouldn't create an electrical problem. The claimed resistance to pump-out and drying over repeated thermal cycles is another important advantage for systems that will remain assembled for years. The 8-gram tube is also a good size if you regularly build or service computers. There is enough material for multiple applications without having to buy a new tube every time you change a cooler or repaste a system.Overall, MX-7 works exactly as advertised. Performance is excellent, application is simple once you account for its thicker consistency, and the price is very competitive. For builders who want a high-quality thermal compound without paying an unreasonable premium for a few grams of paste, this is an excellent value and an easy five stars.Ver másVer menos

Great Results on an 8-Year-Old HP ENVY x360!
I used ARCTIC MX-7 on my 2018 HP ENVY x360 with an Intel Core i7-8550U. This was my first laptop thermal-paste replacement, and on my configuration it was surprisingly straightforward: six screws total (four heatsink and two fan screws) plus the fan connector. The included MX-Cleaner wipes worked very well for removing the old paste and have a pleasant citrus smell. I only used two wipes, and the 4 g tube contains far more paste than needed for one laptop. Before servicing, HWiNFO had recorded CPU package temperatures up to about 76°C. After cleaning the cooling system and applying MX-7, my observed maximum was around 61–64°C, with current temperatures around 51–52°C and no thermal throttling.Delivery took about three days. Very satisfied with the product and the results. 5 stars.Ver másVer menos

Powerfully Performing Paste
The wipes are extremely effective and smell fantastic to my weird self. After warming the tube up with my hand for a few minutes, the MX-7 paste was quick and easy to apply. I used an X as per Arctic recommendation. Performance is excellent. In Cinebench R23 I was able to save about 2-3°C compared to Thermal Grizzly's Duranought. In gaming and general use it either matched or surpassed the great Duranought. My area is currently in a heat wave & to me every degree counts so yeah... This will be my main paste moving forward. MX-7 is fantastic.~ 10/10 GoldblumsVer másVer menos

Absolutely Fantastic
The amount is WONDERFULLY generous - I was able to use it for three different CPU/AIO installations, and probably could have stretched that out to 4 or 5. It's thermal conductivity is excellent, and the included wipes are absolutely excellent for cleaning plates, CPUs, or surfaces that accidentally get paste on them. Totally gonna keep some of this stuff on hand.Ver másVer menos

It saved my CPU from a 5-year midlife crisis. Buy it immediately
Let’s start with a confession: I hadn’t changed my thermal paste in five years. Five. Whole. Years. When I finally took off my old cooler, what was left on the CPU didn't even look like thermal paste anymore; it looked like chalky gray drywall dust from an abandoned house. It’s a miracle my processor hadn’t filed for divorce. Enter the ARCTIC MX-7. I grabbed the 4g tube, and honestly, the price-to-performance ratio is an absolute joke. You get a massive tube for next to nothing, plus it comes with those beautiful MX-Cleaner wipes that easily melted away half a decade of my absolute tech-neglect. The Application: This stuff has some serious stick to it! Unlike older pastes that run around like liquid soap, the MX-7 is thick and structured. I drew a beautiful X pattern on the CPU, and the stickiness was perfect, it gripped the chip and didn't slide everywhere. Because it's a thicker formula designed to fight "pump-out" over time, you don't even need to manually spread it with a spatula. The Final Boss Setup: I slapped ARCTIC's absolute unit of a cooler, the beefy Liquid Freezer III Pro AIO, directly on top of it. The mounting pressure naturally spread the paste into a perfect, flawless layer underneath the cold plate. Combined with that giant radiator, my temperatures went from "active volcano" to "Antarctic winter." My CPU is idling so low right now that I think it's technically catching a cold. Verdict: If you are looking for top-tier thermal performance, a generous amount of paste, and a price point that won't make your wallet cry, this is it. Don't wait 5 years like I did. Buy the tube, apply the X, mount the beefy cooler, and enjoy the icy silence.Ver másVer menos

It works great on my mini PC!
I am using this product with my HP600 G6 Mini PC and it has performed excellently. The CPU temperature decreased by 3-5 degrees immediately after the application. I highly recommend this product.

Great TIM!
My UIltra9 285k on a 360mm AIO was shooting from 32c idle to 100c immediately upon starting a stress test. I knew my old TIM had failed after only a year.I decided to try the MX-7 and have been very impressed! The paste was easy to apply with great consistency. Not too thin and not overly thick. After application I put my pc back together and fired it up and performed another stress test. From idle temp of 36c to 38c then 40c. Cpu temp topped out at 60c!At $7 this is a great value per performance!I’m super happy so far! As long as it doesn’t dry out in a year, I’ll be happy!Ver másVer menos

Absolut krass! Mega Ergebnis!🤩❄️
