Accurate every time. Easy to use out of box. Works well outdoors. Nice clear readout.
This is surprisingly very accurate, and every time, both indoors & out. Im a carpenter & use this when framing decks or measuring from ground to a high deck etc. Its especially helpful in tight areas where a tape measure would be almost impossible to get a good measurement. its also great indoors when measuring wall to wall or doorframe sizes. Has a nice clear, crisp, large, strong contrast readout screen, viewable outdoors without a problem. Very easy to use right out of the box. Ive also dropped it several times from my upper chest pockets onto concrete & it still works perfect. Has great battery longevity w/ a battery status level indicator visible on top left of screen . Been using it on/ off for over 2 weeks now and battery still reads full. Has several memory readout functions, saved, very easy to see & recall. Also comes with a good, comprehensive easy to understand manual and a nice little soft case. Cant beat it for the price. Figures, it went on sale for less $ 2 days after i got it, but no big deal cuz its easily worth what i paid.Ver másVer menos

Works great
Received today, I know that it will measure many things, my purpose was to measure how tall a tree was. So when it was dropped, we would have an idea of the falling trees reach. An easy way for safety, keeping boundaries so others including me safe.First tree to come down, will be 70ft oak tree.Srapped it three places to insure it follows our line.I read it was hard to measure after 20 ft. Waited till the sun started going down. In our case it was a slow roll up the tree, easy to leave the red dot to left or right. Third try, put it so close to the very top.Pushed the button and bingo, perfect. In our case it has done well.Sincerely, CherryVer másVer menos

Value laser
It works well for what i use it for, it's easy to use and sturdy. It can't measure under 45mm why i only gave 4 stars, but it's pretty good for the price

Incredible Value and Accuracy at this Price Point
This laser really stands up to the big guys! I compared this laser with my Bosch GLM165-27C (an industry standard laser) and was incredibly surprised how close the Mileseey measures to the Bosch. This review includes photos, and you will notice how similar the measurements are. Well within tolerance for this type of measuring tool. I will explain more about my testing later in this review, but for those just looking for a recommendation, I believe this laser will serve any DIY'er or low-profile professional very well for gentle day to day use.Firstly, lets talk about the good things:This laser is easy to read, intuitive to use, has great features, and has a good enough build quality that I wouldn't bat an eye at it for this price. The body is a thin, cheap plastic construction that would likely crack or chip away if it were dropped from any higher than 2-3 ft. I believe it's sturdy enough to be used by your average Joe or apprentice. Don't expect this tool to last long if you're not gentle with your tools! It's no Milwaukee! As for accuracy, the laser is very accurate when compared to a significantly more expensive laser. Not that price truly has any weight on the trustworthiness... I compared this to a Bosch Blaze laser, which in my opinion is an industry-recognized and trusted laser measurement tool. While testing the Mileseey against it, I was seeing very comparable results. Usually within +/- 0.5". That deviance of course is affected proportionately by the distance measured. Get this tool if you don't need laboratory precision, but also can't justify the price of the big boys. Now for some things this laser is lacking:It doesn't have an auto-rotate feature for the display. It is only viewable from the upright position. I wouldn't expect this feature at this price point, but it's worth noting. This laser requires a dimly lit environment, and a relatively reflective surface to shoot the laser on. This does not work well on black/brown surfaces. The ability to reach the advertised 165ft max measurement distance is highly dependent on solid and near-perfect conditions. That is, a reflective (white preferably) surface and dim lighting conditions. This laser does not work well outdoors! You have to hold this laser steady for a long time at longer distances to get a good read. This is also true for the Bosch, but I find it is much more forgiving than the Mileseey. If not held perfectly still at long distances, you may get an error code that I posted in the pictures to this review.

Intuitive Design for Everyday Projects
I’ve been using the RockSeed Digital Laser Distance Meter, and for the most part, it has been incredibly easy to use. It’s a very intuitive tool that simplifies a lot of the measuring tasks I used to do with a traditional tape measure. What I LovedVery User-Friendly: Most of the core features are a breeze to figure out. I was able to jump right in and start measuring distances, areas, and volumes without having to constantly consult the manual.Helpful Display: The backlit LCD is clear and easy to read, and being able to switch between meters, inches, and feet on the fly is a really convenient touch.Added Accuracy: The two built-in bubble levels are a great addition. They give me that extra bit of confidence that I’m holding the device level, which is crucial for getting an accurate reading over longer distances.Portable and Compact: It’s small enough to toss in a pocket or a tool bag, making it a very portable solution for DIY projects around the house. What I Didn't LoveTricky Pythagorean Mode: While most features are straightforward, the "Pythagorean theorem" function (the triangle measurement) was a bit tricky to wrap my head around. I’m still a little unsure if I’m using that specific mode correctly.Learning Curve for Advanced Calcs: Luckily, I haven't really needed to use the triangle measurement feature for my projects yet, but be prepared to spend a little extra time practicing with the buttons if you need those complex indirect measurements.Final VerdictRating: 4.5/5This laser measure is a solid, reliable tool that is perfect for anyone who wants to speed up their measuring process. It’s simple, intuitive, and offers great value for standard distance and area calculations. As long as you don't mind a little bit of a learning curve for the more advanced geometric functions, it’s a fantastic addition to any home toolkit.Ver másVer menos

Fast and Accurate
Accurate and easy to use. Measures quickly and saves a lot of time compared to a regular tape measure. Very useful tool.

Accurate
Very simple to use and accurate. I laid a tape measure on the ground, rested one end against a wall, pulled the tape measure out 20 ft and the laser read exactly 20 ft. It was exactly right at 5 ft also. May lose accuracy if you get a long way away but I will rarely need to measure over 30 ft.Ver másVer menos

Works good enough!
I’m quite impressed. Feels a bit cheap but works really well. Measured up to 45 feet and it was accurate, give or take 1/16 to 1/8 inch which is good for room measurements. The backlight is much appreciated is the makes reading easy.Update: I’ve been using it everyday and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s better at rough estimates. I’ve seen it measure off by an inch. Also I had no idea daylight would be my enemy. Tried measuring my driveway (around 50 feet) midday in full sun and it kept erroring out. Used it at night and was able to measure 200 feet though.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Accurate, Easy to Use & Great Value for DIY and Professional Measuring
I bought the Laser Measure 50M/165ft RockSeed Digital Laser Distance Meter from Amazon and have been very impressed with its performance. It’s compact, feels well-made and has quickly become my go-to tool for measuring around the house and for DIY projects. The 50 m (165 ft) range is more than enough for most indoor and outdoor tasks, and the measurements are consistently accurate. I love the two bubble levels — they make it super easy to ensure the device is perfectly level before measuring, which gives extra confidence in the results. The backlit LCD is clear and easy to read even in dim light, and switching between m/in/ft units is simple. It handles single distance readings and more advanced calculations like area, volume and Pythagorean measurements, which has been really handy for planning furniture layouts and checking room dimensions. It’s lightweight and portable, fits comfortably in a tool bag, and the battery life has been good so far.Overall, this feels like a reliable and versatile laser measure at a great price — excellent for home users and pros alike.Ver másVer menos
