The Midwife’s Review
I am a homebirth midwife and I use these to capture those sweet newborn foot prints on a frameable unofficial birth certificate. Years ago, we would use ink pads, which are possibly more sustainable, because you can use them for probably a year before you have to toss the ink pad. However, cleaning those baby feet is not easy. They are so wrinkly! I also don’t love the idea of leaving any ink behind on fresh newborn skin. Let’s keep those babies safe.I love that these pads are single use, no ink on baby, and the plastic box they come in really does keep the pads from getting messed up in shipping. I had ordered from another company, without such robust boxes, and was really disappointed with how messed up the ink pads were.This set comes with two post card sized cards per ink pad that are suitable for capturing newborn feet prints and could be given as gifts.In the future, I will be ordering these ink pads. Great for puppies
As a breeder, I like to send puppies off to their homes with "birth certificates" and place newborn footprints on them. These work perfectly without the worry of toxic ink left behind.

We had to say goodbye to our German shepherd. These were perfect to make a few keepsakes before his appointment. Would buy again :)

Not inkless at all
This was not inkless at all. My 3 week old is covered in ink that is not coming off 😣 I thought this was more like the ink they use at the hospital for newborns footprints. This ink was very messy.
