I don’t usually write long reviews, but this product has genuinely been a game changer for my pool, so I felt like I needed to share my experience in detail.I live in Houston, Texas, where the heat and humidity can be absolutely brutal, especially during pool season. Anyone who owns or maintains a pool in this kind of climate knows how quickly things can go sideways. Between the humidity, heavy rain, intense sun, and warm water temperatures, keeping a pool clear can feel like a constant battle. I have been managing and maintaining my pool here in Houston for over four years, and during that time I have dealt with algae popping up from time to time no matter how careful I tried to be.My pool is also very large, about 30,000 gallons, so when something goes wrong, it can take a lot of time, money, and chemicals to get it corrected. I have tried different routines, different chlorine products, shock treatments, extra brushing, and all kinds of maintenance tricks over the years. Some worked okay, some worked for a little while, and some were just a waste of money. But I stumbled across this chlorine and decided to take a chance on it, and honestly, it has been life-changing for my pool maintenance routine.This has basically become the perfect pool hack for me.Since I started using this chlorine, my pool has stayed clear, clean, and easy to maintain, even in the nasty Houston humidity. I have not had algae issues like I used to, and I have not even had to use shock this season. That alone is a huge deal for me because shock treatments can get expensive and annoying, especially with a large pool.Here is the simple routine that has been working perfectly for me:Step one: I use this chlorine as my main chlorine product.Step two: Once a week, I add three chlorine tablets to the chlorine feeder back by the pump. I also add one tablet to my robotic surface skimmer.Step three: I turn the pump to high speed for one hour and brush all the walls of the pool.That is it. I do this once a week, and my pool stays clear and clean with no signs of algae. Every once in a while, if we get a heavy rainstorm, I may do an extra brushing just to stay ahead of things, but I do not need to add extra tablets and I have not needed to shock the pool at all.For me, the biggest benefit is how consistent the results have been. My water stays clear. The pool looks clean. The walls do not get that slippery algae feel. I am not constantly chasing chemical problems. I am not spending my weekends trying to rescue the pool.
